    Good point. But is he , Papelbon, have more value one every five days or so, as a starter. Or, is he more valuable in middle relief, working two to three times a week. Especialling when you consider he will probably picking up Schilling for a while.

    Sizzlin22 is right. It does matter what we pay him, if he doesn't produce, he doesn't produce ( injuries aside ). He didn't say it was a bad signing, it wasn't. Low money with a lot of potential. But when that potential doesn't pan out, it's time to adjust.
