  1. GhostofMalzone. why are you double posting ? http://www.talksox.com/forum/showthread.php?p=91131#post91131 http://www.talksox.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4754&page=3

  3. They probably will, but I wouldn't be upset to see him back.
  4. Guardado is old, unreliable, and too expensive. Pass.
  5. Except for Poole, the status of all other players on the report hasn’t changed from Wednesday
  6. That's true. But it should be a good game !
  7. 26 to 6, chill out. My quote was directed to He Hate Me and we settled that. The point is that both Cashman and Theo will probably sign today or tommorrow with significant increases in salary. They'll both be paid as top GM's which they are. So let's see what each can pull off during this off season, and judge the results by the up coming regular season and the play-offs.
  8. Game is on ESPN tonight at 7:30 EST. Go Eagles.
  9. It looks like Theo's staying : Source : http://www.boston.com/sports/baseball/redsox/articles/2005/10/27/decision_is_expected_today_as_epstein_mulls_offer/ Also last night on Fox Sports, Butch Stern stated that, " A source close to the negotiations said that Theo is expected to sign for about 1.4 Mil per year with an annoucement today or tommorrow ".
  10. Alot of things can happen in two years.
  11. Exactly what backround and experience do you have to skeak for what Theo and Red Sox fans will do ? This thread is about Theo and his negotions with the Red Sox. It doesn't have a damn thing to do with the Yankees.
  12. Not only that, he was and continues to be one of the classiest guys to play the game.
  13. This doesn't sound good. Source : http://www.boston.com/sports/baseball/redsox/articles/2005/10/26/epstein_rejects_upgraded_offer_from_sox/
  14. Ramble on, ramble on. You didn't get a 1st baseman. You proposed to take the best DH in baseball and put him in the field. Where he will most definately suffer with his bad knee. You didn't "get" a center fielder. You proposed signing our own free agent for terms he has stated are below his requirements. You want Soriano, who are you going to give up, since he's not a free agent. Not to mention we don't need a second baseman. Fine, gaet "quality pitching ", once again how are you going to pay for it with all these other acquisitions. I quess your style , or lack thereof, is whenever questioned, just change the subject. There are such things as budgets and financial responsibilty, and yes indirectly it does come out of our own pockets. Its called higher ticket prices. Go back to your bottle. Come back back when you're some what lucid.
  15. I thought so. How about Piazza, Soriano, Graffanio, Damon, Burnett, Gordan, and Fansworth ?
  16. Did you give any thought to the cost in terms of money and prospects ? I seriously think not.
  17. Thanks, brain fart. Correction made.
  18. If you're looking for a sig, " Born a Rambling Man " - Allman Brothers would be good.
  19. elsrbueno, I really think this belongs in Rumors Thread. Not to mention, as you pointed out there are duplicates that already exist.
  20. To be honest, I just don't care. I'm happy for whoever wins. There's no evil team, underdog, or anything else.
  21. I'd say it's about time to move this to Fights and Crap.
  22. I don't know what the problem is. Ben is one of the top quarterbacks in the league. The only potential negative is that he hasn't won the big game. I'd be proud if I was a Pittsburg fan.
  23. Hope it helps. BTW, welcome to the site !
