I didn't say he cant hit. I said he is a AAAA player. He can make himself very comfy at the end of the bench, where is exactly where he will be when everyone is healthy. Second thought, Bobby Valentine likes the kid....so they will be sure to send his ass back down to AAA.

Yeah........except for hes given up 0 ER through 4 IP. Ill take that any day of the week. He is the ace this team hasn't had in 2+ years.

Hellickson's delivery is as smooth as Mark Prior's was. I wonder if he also uses the inverted "W" which is a career killer.

It doesn't happen often. If you don't perform in the minors, you have almost zero shot of making the majors. BTW, Derek Jeter was promoted to all minor league levels at the age of 20, squashing all competition and was in the majors at 21. No comparison.

Gomez's timing is WAY off. That leg kick comes up way too early, hes out in front of offspeed pitches and pulls away from the outside part of the plate.

ML = Minor League. Sorry I wasnt clear about that. I agree to ride the streak out, but thats all it is....is a little hot streak.

Hes 26 and has never shown the ability to hit ML pitching above AA. It will catch up. Gomez on the other hand, he has decent OB skills with some numbers to back it up, he started pro ball very late though.

Do a little research. Hes provided a nice little spark, but he is just another AAAA player that is currently littering our roster due to injury. Morales looks much better.

Dont take it so seriously. Its just the state of things surrounding the franchise. You are lucky you don't live around here.....what you see on this forum is nothing compared to the media around here.

Thats assuming we get the production we expect out of those two, and not the type of production we are getting from Beckett/Lester. If Crawford comes back and hits like he did last year, we are better off with Nava/Sweeney/Kalish (I just threw up). Ellsbury was a little Brady Anderson like last year, we can't expect him to do that again. That would be unfair to him. Lester I'll give you, I dont expect him to pitch this way all year.
