i hope he becomes a figgins. being out here in california i see a lot of him and he is GOOD. hanely is more athletic so if he can put in the hustle like figgins he will be great.
for a team that hasnt seen good left handed pitching for ages (david wells is doing a good job) the farm system is LOADED with'em. all of these guys will win games at the major league level someday...

there is definitely some good ones in this group and we are deep enough to have some decent trade bait in the upcoming years.
"you take it too literal like im rubbing it in..." are you trying to say your not rubbing it in??? when you say something 100 times its hard to think otherwise. but then again its really all you can say. i would rather be the current world champ and not the multiple champ of years ago because im living right now.
this whole arguement that you yankee fans have resorted to is comical. you guys cant win one for a few years and you have to say "we are better because we won 26 titles in the last 100 years". i guess the 49rs or the cowboys are the greatest because they USE TO BE great...thats a joke because they suck RIGHT NOW. just like you guys suck RIGHT NOW. and yes before you start, you suck when you blow a 3-0 lead in the alcs. the RED SOX are the WORLD CHAMPS RIGHT NOW!!! that is what matters RIGHT NOW.
ok i think i figured out part of the problem. its the yankee fans. i hate them so much. the past 2 nights the angels win. the past 2 nights all i hear is yankee *******s talking s*** as they exit the stadium. "26 championships" is all they can say after getting beat. it makes me sick to my stomach how stupid they are. thats a big part of the reason i love seeing them lose.
im not an angel fan although i love vlad guerrero. im not a dodger fan either. angel stadium is an easier drive for me so i go to more angel games than dodger games.
i got to see vlad the impaler stick a fork in the yankees last night with his grand slam. im going again tonight. i was just wondering if anyone feels the same as i do. i think i like watching the yankees lose more than seeing the RED SOX win. it use to not be this way. is it because we have a championship now or are the yankees bigger *******s? someone please help me sort out my feelings!
chill the f*** out big papi...no where did i say he should be ashamed of being of dominican descent. you have no idea what i am. ill tell you this much, im not a "full bred proud american", i became a citizen. maybe thats why it pisses me off more that someone that is (alex rodriguez) would choose not to represent their country that they were born in and try to play for the domincans because they have the best team in the tourney.
The big deal is that it would be nice to see some loyalty to the country that gives him the freedom to play the game he loves and gets paid to do so. it might not be a big deal to some but i just feel its a big deal to me and im stating my opinion. i know there are others on this board that like to hate a-rod so im just giving them one more reason. no big deal to you...big deal to me.
