  1. This taunting isn't happening if esb26 doesn't make his s***** comment, and it wasn't even about the Sox, but about Sox fans. That's a smack in the face. It might not upset you, but I don't like it and I'll speak my mind. I'd appreciate it if you just refrain from commenting if you don't have stones to put someone in their place.
  2. It's perfectly valid. There are 8,000,000 more people in the NY area. If only half are Mets fans, and half don't like baseball, then there are still 2,000,000 more Yankee fans in the area. The MW-ID, my new accronym, can't get 1% of those to show up? Impressive.
  3. Zach knows my tone, and he knows I wasn't giving him s***. I love watching the Mile Wide - Inch Deep fanbase try and explain why they appear to be so vapid. Highly entertaining.
  4. That's all you got? You mean to tell me you can't draw another 20,000 out of the 8,000,000 more people that live in the NY metropolitian area? Weak. As was the fact that you would nitpick me not cutting the season in half.
  5. CBS is nationwide. However, they have every game where an AFC team is on the road on Sunday. So, the local affiliates -- the channel that shows CBS programming -- pick which game they want to show. Sometimes, CBS will declare a game it's "National Telecast Game" and the local affiliates have to show it if the local team isn't on at the same time.
  6. This is funny coming from a member of the Mile Wide - Inch Deep Yankee fanbase that can't fill The Toilet against a playoff contender in September. I love irony.
  7. If your local CBS affiliate isn't showing it, and you don't have the subscription package to watch every game, then you aren't watching it unless you go to a bar.
  8. I'm starting to think the quality of the '04 BP was a fluke. Theo's had 3 s***** ones in 4 years on the job.
  9. f***, I don't know, I live in Florida. Look it up lazy ass.
  10. No BS, Bengie Molina just stole a base against the Halos. He could probably steal 3B on our sad sack of backstops.
  11. 290' dinger. Fenway giveth, Feway taketh away.
  12. Nice stuff from Breslow. That name sounds like it should be the capital of Kracozia. Zach, I've got a dilemna. I'll see what happens tomorrow since the report came out today, but I might need your help. Rosters have expanded so there's no reason for Cleveland to have to put Hafner on the DL. If he doesn't go on the DL, then I can't replace him since he's on the "Can't Drop List".
  13. Pedroia has time for a sandwich on the way to that ball.
  14. The Foulke we just saw would have been a big help the last two years. Figures.
  15. Clemson/BC was a good game. I had it on during commercial breaks for the ND game. I hope we get something like that from Texas/OSU tonight. And, what about next week? Florida/Tennesse, ND/Michigan, and the game of the week, IMO, LSU/Auburn.
  16. I don't think he was responding to anyone. He's just trying to build his case for keeping Nixon around. I don't know why he'd want a COF that has become Melky Cabrera minus the speed and arm. I like Trot. I wish him well. But he's hurt too often and he hits like a middle of the field player.
  17. Youks needs to go yard since he's my Util sub for Hafner -- likely out for the season with a fractured wrist. Horrible timing since the Fantasy playoffs just started. Zach, can I still pick someone up when he goes on the DL? I can't drop him since he's on the "Can't Drop List".
  18. Quinn's looking good in the 2-min drill. He's got a cannon for an arm, and it's accurate. He's deadly when he has time.
