    I don't think it is majority vote. I read up on it, and in Yahoo all it takes is 4 "no" votes to enact the veto.

    The game tonight is PPD per Yahoo. Does the Phranchise get bumped back and debut against the Sox? Or do they keep him throwing against Toronto and throw Pettitte? I think the latter.

    I don't care what the gross numbers are from one game. I'll take the way he pitched every time out. Beckett was in control of that game from the get go, but the ball had eyes in the 1st. That leads to more pitches, which contributes to him tiring in the 7th and losing a little command. I'm sure Yankee fans were encouraged by Wang's outing last night. His 6.1 IP, 4 ER line doesn't look so different from Beckett's on paper.

    What was wrong with bringing in Vizcaino? I think you guys are looking for something to gripe about there. Wang was giving up rockets that inning. Torre goes to Viz and he does his job getting his one out prior to Myers vs. Crawford.

    Yeah, but Camp has been one of the weaker links in the Rays BP. He must have just found this stuff because he looks good, but he's been awful this year.

    Actually, it was a good pitch, but Crawford stayed on it and drove it. Had he opened up he would have grounded out feebly. It was good/good, with good results.

    They need to do something. An occassional gaffe in the OF is exusable if you are contributing offensively in an above average fashion, but WMP is giving this team nothing right now.

    I'm going to buy a Canadian flag and s*** on it. We need something to reverse the trend with them, and I've always been nice to Canada. No more.

    Sure it is. I consider it a break when the other team muffs a routine play and we get runs/bases.
