  1. That would be a valid point if that was what he said. Clark heard, "Mine." I'm sure you've heard that.
  2. Good luck on that search. The kid has exceptional hand-eye coordination. He's got 101 XBH's to 77 K's in the minors over 3 seasons. He sees the ball well, and he puts the bat on it.
  3. I didn't see the pitch to ARod because I went to bed in the 8th. These games run too long for a 4:00 am alarm clock. From what I've read in the game threads elsewhere, Papelbon hit his spot low and away (not bad command, Jacko), and ARod went down and drove it oppo. What I question is why he's throwing a strike at all 0-2. Seems like the right time to either go up the ladder or down in the dirt with the split. Papelbon and his catchers are so accustomed to his stuff blowing people away that they get away from pitching since it's only one inning. Not smart, especially to the best player in the game.
  4. I think the Yankees appeal the tag more than any team in the league.
  5. HERE I COME TO SAVE THE DAAAAYYYY!!! http://www.splicedonline.com/99reviews/manonmoon.jpg
  6. People really don't take Thumper seriously.
  7. 'Sheed: million dollar talent, ten-cent head. So, Spurs vs. Cavs? Interesting.
  8. When you do that rewind take note of where Billy Mueller is stationed during game 6. Tito kept him either on or right at the grass in order to be ready to field a bunt. I'm pretty sure that played a bigger role than "class". And, if you ever wanted to call something cliche, Yankee "class" would be the place to begin.
  9. Jacko, what Lowell did trying to break up the DP doesn't call for getting a pitch thrown at his head. It just doesn't. That is upping the ante. Drop the psuedo-tough guy crap and think straight. Does he deserve a pitch to the ribs? Probably. You rarely see guys take that tactic in trying to bust up the throw, and that is all he was trying to do. But unless the intent is to injure and do serious harm, the retaliation shouldn't have the potential to do that. And that is why I think you are losing without class. Lowell wasn't trying to hurt anyone, but you want his career threatened. What a joke? You keep tossing around throwing at peoples' head like it is no big deal. All it takes is one time, just one, where the guy doesn't see it right and doesn't react fast enough and then a season or career is lost. That's why you don't see balls headed for the head that often. Sure, high and tight happens, but not many of them are right in the earhole. If you really think that s*** needs to come back into the game, then my estimation of you has completely dropped. In the end, it's just a f***ing game, quit wishing bodily harm on those you can't beat.
  10. No class in losing, Jacko. Not even a little.
  11. Beat 'em and beat 'em up. Great day at the Fens.
  12. Some time after Gallardo gets called up.
  13. Mike Lowell is bringing sexy back.
  14. When I grow up, I want to be Dustin Pedroia.
  15. Lugo will groundout an RBI. It's what he does.
  16. Nice pirouette. Anyone catch a glimpse of his tutu there?
  17. McCarver is making a really good point there. Proctor is handcuffed after his antics right now. He can't even think about sniffing the inside half. Serves the stupid f***er right. This is his mess, deal with it nimrod.
  18. I hope the faint of heart are taking notes. This team is damn good, they just happen to be playing another damn good team. Drunken bases, no outs.
