    That inning, although he got out of it clean, is why I have absolutely no faith in continued success, either in the rotation or BP for JT. When you show off the pitching savy of walking a guy like Vazquez on 4 pitches with 2 out, so you can face Young (their best contact hitter who predictably gets a hit) and then Sosa (their big power threat), then I want nothing to do with you. He just doesn't "get it".

    The huge anomaly that I've noticed in Pettitte's stats is the HR/FB rate. He's normaly in the 10-12% rate in HRs per Fly Ball. The last time I looked he was at like 4%. That stuff just doesn't magically get good overnight, so there is a correction coming, and today is part of it. Everything else was withing reason of what you'd expect when switching leagues.

    Pettitte's luck appears to have slept in today. 3-0 A's on some dink and dunk hits 2nd and 3rd with 2 out in the 2nd

    f***ing Catt. Hitting .206 on the year, and he goes 3-3, like every game against us. Why can't he remember that he sucks when he plays the Sox? I hate that f***er. A career nothing who is a thorn every time we play his team.
