  1. I can get on board with that. To be honest, it's kind of funny, they are the only team I'd like to see win it if the Sox don't. My uncle, who played college ball at Maryland and made it up to AA, is a season ticket holder. Nice seats about 12 rows up between the 3B bag and the foul pole. He's got to be loving this right now.
  2. Sure is, but Francis can give us fits, and their offense looks capable of stealing a game or two. They are last on my wish list of NL teams.
  3. Kaz is a single away from the cycle. Damn, if we make it to the WS, I want no part of the Rox right now.
  4. Jose Mesa translates to Joe Table. You can't win with a guy named Joe Table. See.
  5. Nope, good Fogg returns.
  6. Looks like one bad-inning Fogg wants some more playing time.
  7. All the Rox need to do at this point is IBB Rollins. David Copperfield should contract Utley and Howard to show him how to disappear.
  8. Salami. Bye Phils.
  9. Wicked. He's on it tonight. Great stuff.
  10. I thought the plate was only 17" wide?
  11. I don't agree on foul balls if you are talking about ones in play. Where does the runner end up? Most balls down the line are doubles, or even triples, but then again, sometimes slow guys get held to singles. I'm all for replay on HRs and calls at the bases though. EDIT: And also, what if there are runners on base? How many bases to they get? Tough to set a standard number of bases for plays that are so dynamic.
  12. Youks is raking Lackey. Pour it on. No more squanders.
  13. Now he's getting the Chase Wright treatment.
  14. LaRussa? He's lost 4-1, 4-0, and 4-0 in three WS with teams that won 104, 103, and 105 games respectively.

Absolutely, but magnitude counts, IMO. We haven't seen a collosal conundrum yet. Imagine, an undefeated from each BCS conference, six unbeaten teams, and only two get a shot. Huge egg vs. smaller egg on the face. I think it might take something like that to finally invoke change.
  16. BOS NYY COL CHI NYY CHI CHI 6 Zambrano Cubs win!! Cubs win!! Oh, and x+y+z=29, learn it, love it, live it.
  17. Congrats, SFOC.
  18. Salami. This is what happens when you are relying on Josh Fogg to get you into the postseason.
  19. x + y + z = 29 Right up there with the mass/energy transformation equation, if you ask me.
