And, to be fair, Ellsbury has cost two defensive runs tonight as well. If one believes in the predetermined outcome, the Morneau RBI ground-out in the 1st is a likely double play if Mauer is held at first.
Bonser's luck continues.
He has at least 38 times in his career, to the tune of a 1.834 OPS (.474/.939/.895). I like his chances if he goes after the cookie.

Also, I think Bonser is trying to take advantage of the team's focus on patience. He grooved first pitch FBs to Ellsbury and Pedroia (obviously not to the boppers). I'd like to see a more aggressive approach from everyone other than Manny and Papi.
Igawa is giving up rockets, but has had the good fortune for two of them to be hit right at people (one literally as it hit him and he fielded the riccochet).
I do agree with Phillips on moving Dunn and Griffey, however, his estimation of their value is bonkers. This is a team on the cusp of being really good if they can flip those two for some talent that is still a year out. Preferably a potential catcher of the future (I wonder if the Rangers would be interested in Dunn for Teagarden).
