  1. Vazquez has been an asset today.
  2. http://www.eddie-hughes.com/pix/main.php/d/84-2/dscn4547.jpg
  3. Lars plays yardball again tonight.
  4. Yeah, but you just blew a goat, so your smell is all f***ed up.
  5. A huge portion. They got back into the game in the 5th primarily because Tito wanted to get the rook a first "W". He needed to have somebody come in earlier and shut it down.
  6. Yes, please bunt Bradley. Pretty please.
  7. That guy is an out making machine. What didn't get done at the plate, he took care of on the bases.
  8. Looked like he may have gotten Catalanotto's arm before his retard slide hit the plate. This is good. Maybe they will finally realize Manny Delcarmen is not anything more than the 1st guy out of the pen.
  9. Cat's reign continues. Blinkity-blinky f***ing blinking ****stain.
  10. Bradley's ball gets fielded if nobody is on 1B. f***ing BBrdsma.
  11. Damn, now the umps decide to pay attention to what happens in CF.
  12. That blown call really hurts now.
  13. I think the point is that the Yankees could a) use someone capable of league average pitching at the back of their rotation, and allowed a team ahead of them to improve. I don't think anyone here is thinking Byrd is any great shakes. He's a league average pitcher over his career, just like Wakefield is, who just went down, and something Buchholz is not capable of right now. Make no mistake, this improves the Sox right now, and the Yankees did nothing to stop it from happening. It would have improved the Yankees too. While I don't agree with the sentiment about waving the white flag, I think those two facts are its genesis. Oh, and the "Sucks"? Couldn't you use the "x"? That way you'd at least show the wit of a pre-adolescent 3rd grader.
  14. Hurry up with your PA, Drew. I'm here for the Laser Show.
  15. You've got a 10-spot, Chuck. Throw strikes.
  16. I approve of this inning.
  17. Bizarro Texas? http://chud.com/nextraimages/Seinfeld10.jpg He even looks like Feldman.
  18. I don't see the need for this move. I think they will be roughly equivalent offensive players. Hardy with more pop, Lowrie with more OBP and better baserunning. Why give up any kind of talent to make a lateral move? Hardy is a 26 y/o, 20 HR SS. He won't come cheap.
  19. I like it. He's Mussina-lite. The stuff is about the same right now, with Byrd's problem being bouts of inconsistency. He hasn't had a decent receiver in Cleveland. It will be interesting see how well he pitches with Tek handling him.
  20. My favorite.
