Unbelievably lucky play in Dallas. The ball goes right through Austin's hands, hops over two Cin defenders, and hits Crayton in stride. You can't make up how lucky that was.

Good win for Denver. After LJ gashed them for almost 200 yds last week, I thought the Bucs might give their D some problems with Graham. I mean, let's face it, the Bucs O-line is better than KC's. Very good sign that they were able to address some of their defensive issues.

Romo with a horrible attempt that Rivers picks. Take advantage Bengals.

Piss off, Buffalo. Offside to give them a fresh set of downs inside the 20 on a FG attempt? Of course, Fitzgerld, who my opponent has, gets another score.

The Bengals pull to within 6. If they can somehow pull off the upset here, I can't wait to see how the TO situation evolves. He's only got 1 catch for 10 yds. The blame game should be a hoot. Please let this happen.

Lately, Cassel has been doing exactly what a guy with his limited ability can't do, namely turning it over. If he continues this, the Pats are done.

Zorn showing a little moxie in Philly. Goes for it on 4th and 1 on the Philly 43 with 2:48 left. Both teams were out of TOs, so he knew that yard essentially ended the game, and they got it.

And he caps it off with a pick....massive, massive gag job. Coach and QB. Boos in Houston.

Miami beats two decent teams in a row. Interesting.

Is Kubiak still their coach? Their defense shut them down to 10 points in 3.5 quarters of football. Quit giving that dummy the ball, hand it to Slaton 3 times, and make them move the ball on you. If they stuff it in here, the final 14 points will come on only 20 yds of offense, and it's all because you allowed Super Sage to piss the game away for you. That's on the coach.

Hahah, so ridiculous it's comical. Rosenfels fumbles in the first series after the kick.

Geez, just saw the fumble return. There's a reason Rosenfels is a career backup. Slide, dipshit.

    2008 NFL Season

Well, the Colts want to shut me up with 14 quick points. Although, not sure how often they can count on 68 yd fumble returns.

Yeah, they are playing well on both sides of the ball. The only thing left to really be considered one of the league elites is to stay the course. For some teams, finding that consistency is an ellusive step.

Wow, 27-10 in Houston. Colts are toast.

Six more of those to Fasano, Chad, please.

Tough call, but I think it was the right one. It would have taken and exceptional effort from Martin to come down with that inbounds, but it didn't look totally uncatchable.

Stuffed. Nice shot of Norv afterwards.

Young mistake. The athletic move to avoid a tackler made him compromise ball control, and that was a hell of a play by Hester. My guess he will be seen around Dolphins camp with an oblong leather ward next week.

Philly doesn't allow a lot to TEs, Cooley has not been a target in Zorn's offense, so I start Fasano this week. Cooley is 8-109 with a TD. Fasano is 2-27 with nothing. Dontcha love FFB? Oh, well, I'm not really upset because that puts my team ahead. If they can be done on the road in the division sitting at 4-1, I'll be stoked.

Wildcat! Two weeks ago it had NE off balance, and now it's doing the same to SD. Imagine if they had an athlete at QB who was actually a threat to be a target downfield.

After all the offseason hoopla about Favre and Rodgers for the Packers, then Rodgers showing he's a capable replacement, and the scare about Rodgers having a significant injury, one would think a real big priority would have been protecting Rodgers today. How does he get sacked on their first offensive play? Strange.
  23. Also, the Sox made moves to get young outside their own house. They didn't fall overly in love with their prospects when they acquired Beckett. They spent the coin to get Matsuzaka. They only moved the malcontent when they were getting a young all-star to replace him.
  24. Yeah, but does anyone have his email address?
  25. I think we need one catch-all thread where you and Gom post only the articles that agree with polar opposite and extreme ends of the spectrum. You guys can have at it, hell, for Sox fans it's entertaining, but I for one am tiring of the disjointed nature of the discussion as each of you puts each new article supporting your side on display as a stand-alone point. It's really all part of the same discussion.
