  1. Apparently, he didn't just use the madam's services, but he played a little hide the salami with her too. Link Here's her picture. http://assets.nydailynews.com/img/2009/02/01/amd_kristin_davis.jpg I say, again, L-O-L-A LOLA!
  2. It was reminiscent of Tyus Edney. What sucks is that the WKU coach was trying to call time right after the tip in tied it, but the refs missed it.
  3. I didn't say anything about the legitimacy of his prospect status. To me, when you say "take some pressure off" the current BP, that means innings with some LEV. For him to get innings with some LEV, you are talking about 5 or 6 better relievers who have faltered. This is what I mean by the season being a suckfest. Now, if you mean "pitch some slop innings" when you say take pressure off the BP, then I'll agree, but those innings aren't really pressure packed.
  4. With the amount of talent in the MLB 'pen, if there is a need for Hunter Jones to come in an take some pressure off that group, then the season is pretty much going to suck. This isn't really arguable.
  5. Wow, you guys are really selling the Tigers short. Despite their s***** year last year, they still have the best lineup in the AL Central going into this season. The rotation of Verlander, Bonderman, Robertson, Miner, and Jackson, with Porcello knocking on the door, has the potential to be pretty good, and they've got Zumaya and Rodney back healthy in the BP. They might not win that division, but they should contend. ALE - Boston, NY (WC), Tampa, Baltimore, Toronto ALC - Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, Minnesota, KC ALW - LAAoA (USA), Oakland, Texas, Seattle NLE - Philadelphia, NY, Atlanta, Florida, Washington NLC - St Louis, Chicago (WC), Cincinnati, Milwaukee, Houston, Pittsburg NLW - LA, Arizona, SF, SD, Colorado
  6. Why? Carrying your idea of fairness forward, it's not really fair that I had to pick 11th and you got to pick 3rd. Wah, make it fair. You won't see what I'm saying here because you are so myopic and closed off to ideas that counter your arguments. The point is, there's a degree of luck in where you end up in the draft. As compensation for losing out in the draft, the unlucky are rewarded by being able to pick up players added to the league after the draft first (if they are paying attention). Realize, I'm not saying this because I think I'll get him. The two in front of me are the type that pay attention, so I expect he'll go to one of them. There are other potential impact players, who are tearing it up in ST this year, who are not available. You need to do the work and ID them, then pay attention, or lose out when they are added. At some point, if you are judicious in when you use waiver claims (you always end up at the back of the line when you use one), you'll be at the front of the line. If you don't do want to do the work of researching the minor leagues, you can always pick up the next Yankee scrub who gets called up from AAA and trade him to 26 for 2 or 3 good players.
  7. Gaudio looks to be a coach in the Dale Brown mold. Recruits his ass off, but couldn't coach his way out of a wet paper sack. He's got more raw talent on that team than Cleveland St has in school history.
  8. The x-rays were negative. f***ing pussy wasn't even seriously hurt. Soft ass faker.
  9. What a pussy.
  10. Dirka, dirka!
  11. Seriously, I'm from DC and you wouldn't have found me extolling the virtues of the Anacostia area around RFK. That place is like The Wire, and this is coming from someone who went to a few warehouse parties in west Baltimore and has been to where The Wire took place.
  12. Lester fanned 6 in 4 1/3 before hitting his pitch count. He struggled with location in the 1st, but settled in and dominated after that.
  13. He's got the game to be a top AL shortstop in the near future. Him and Pedroia up the middle will be a huge asset.
  14. Double and a homer tonight. It's only the 3rd inning.
  15. We've had similar problems in the past. I wanted to draft Josh Hamilton when he got picked up in the Rule V draft by Cincinnati and tore up ST before his rookie year, but had to wait for Yahoo to add him and got him on waivers. Same year I got Lincecum on waivers later in the year. Thems the breaks.
  16. No, I'm serious. The WC is comparable to the Olympics in stature and importance, IMO. In America, the Olympics are bigger, but I think the WC is as big a deal as the Olympics globally. Give the WBC time, and it could be on par with the WC, thus the WBC is comparable to the Olympics in the future (potentially). However, right now it is an unfair comparison because the other two events are decades old.
  17. I hate Ted Lilly. Always good when he's playing my team, always sucks when I want him to do well. Douche nozzle.
  18. Rematch on MLB Network. Youk just hit a complete bomb to put the US up 3-1.
  19. Ellsbury, Papi, Bay, and Varitek all with a multi-hit game that includes a homer today.
  20. Yeah, with a skirt on.
