  1. You are right, it would take a pretty stupid person to suggest such a thing. Thing is, as far as I can tell, you are the only person who has done it on this forum. Congrats, you win the stupid.
  2. Oakland with a 3-spot in the 6th, up 3-0 in Arlington.
  3. The schedule is for every 4 years. It was only 3 years between the first and second WBC because they wanted to get on an odd year and not conflict with the World Cup, Summer Olympiad, or Winter Olympiad.
  4. This is true, but given how much he struggled last year, I'll feel more confident with some continued success.
  5. If Buchholz is really the pitcher we've seen the last month, if he's finally translating his awesomeness in the minors to the bigs, then yeah. With a better BP than the one they had that year, they could be dangerous in October.
  6. I think Felix is going in the nightcap, so I like Seattle's chances in game 2.
  7. It's really not a debatable point, and this doesn't help your credibility, because now we have to question what happens between your ears instead of whether or not you only watched sporadically.
  8. Gameday's broken again, it says Tek got a hit.
  9. No, really, f***ing quit it Delhomme, you overrated Cajun douchebag.
  10. I didn't say they were dominating them, but they were playing better. I don't think anyone without an agenda who watched that game would say differently.
  11. Yo, Delhomme, you can quit giving the ball to the Eagles. Seriously, it's OK if you keep it.
  12. Nope. If we could, he wouldn't be a Dojji-type.
  13. Something more than what they'd get with a 1 and 1s pick.
  14. Awful execution. Greg Zaun should never be walked to lead off an inning.
  15. Ok.* *Can't tell if you caught the innuendo.
  16. Welcome to the site. We could use more 19 y/o girls who will tell us about the quality of their cookies.
  17. Insanity. Vitters just got his first taste of advanced A ball and put up a .604 OPS in 189 ABs. Papelbon is one of the top 5 closers in the league and is young. Even if you think Vitters is going to be the next Mike Schmidt, and he's got a long way to go to get there, you aren't getting anything near market value for a player like Papelbon.
  18. "His growth, and maturation, on that drive." Come on, you ball washer. He made one downfield throw of significance to the TE, and that was a clear hot route called by the coordinator. The rest was McKnight.
  19. At the risk of sounding like I've got some bias here, I don't like either of these teams, in fact I want both to lose pretty much every week. So, here goes. If USC goes on to win, it will be a shame for OSU. They were the better team on the field, IMO. USC looked good on about a drive and a half all game.
  20. Can the announcing crew polish the correct set of balls here? Barkley's getting all the credit, but McKnight has put this team on his back. EDIT: And, at the very end, he gets some credit.
  21. Like baseball, football is a funny game. USC looked like crap the entire 2nd half offensively, they give up a sack on 1st down deep in their own territory, they increase the difficulty level with a delay of game, making it 2nd and 20 from the 5. Now they are on the doorstep with a chance to go ahead.
