    Brandon Moss in his Pirates debut (vs Chicago) is so far 0 for 3, Walk, 2 Ks. But he did get an outfield assist, nailing Kosuke Fukodome at 1st base :thumbsup: . New teammate Jeff Karstens has thrown 6 shutout innings, giving up 5 hits, walking 4 and striking out 2 Lets go J-Bay!! Duchscherer this season vs Boston in 2 games, 1-0 with an 0.64 ERA. On the road in 9 games, 3-5 with a 2.45 ERA Wakefield this season vs Oakland in 2 games, 0-1 with a 6.49 ERA. At home in 10 games, 5-3 with a 3.23 ERA

    Its the only thing he's known. Cup of coffee with the Padres then the rest with the Pirates. Him going from the worst team in more than a decade to now one of the best in a playoff push, plus a better park can only get him higher IMO, Hansen will indeed find more success in Pittsburgh than he ever would have in Boston. He needed to be sent to a place where there isnt much pressure on you right away. And Moss he gets sent to a team that will allow him a chance to be a starting outfielder. Same situation with David Murphy last season

    I think the notion to boo Bay is funny. Yes he's replacing Manny now (no easy task for anyone) but for some, like it or not he's a Red Sox for at least the next 1.5 seasons. He's going to rake, and I plan on cheering him on while Im at tomorrow nights game. Hope he hits a homerun away to deafen the gloomy gusses

    lol By now this is a deal that has to get done. If Manny is acting like this now (taking strikes down the middle, jogging on the baselines, taking himself out of big games, talking s*** about management to reporters)... who says that will stop anytime soon?
