    Ill take that. The Red Sox head into the Rangers series with a 3.5 deficit in the divsion (Can't wait for the Tampa series coming up), and a 5.5 game lead in the wild card

    Im liking the Byrd acquistion. Nice to see Bailey making a case to be the backup next year, along with Varitek's recent power surge Byrd last season vs Baltimore in 1 game, 1.35 ERA. This season at Fenway Park in 2 games, 1-1 with a 5.02 ERA Olson this season vs Boston in 3 games, 0-2 with a 7.88 ERA. At Fenway Park in 2 games, 0-2 with a 9.82 ERA. On the road in 13 games, 4-6 with a 7.59 ERA

    Wake, Beckett and Dice-K arent reaching 200 innings because of one reason... the disabled list Beckett reached 200 innings the last 2 seasons and Dice topped 200 innings in his debut season. Wakefield last season had a very respectable 189 innings pitched
