  1. Oops sorry about that, my bad
  2. http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20100311&content_id=8761570&vkey=news_bos&fext=.jsp&c_id=bos Jason Bay doesn't get why so many people are worried about the Sox's offense this season.
  3. Its not a trade off. Green was only good offensively in April and May. From June to September, he batted .233, .143 and .189 (.167 in 2nd half). September he just got 6 ABs They made the trade for A-Gon because not only had Green's offense slipped, but his defense was also. He showed why to not give bench players too much ABs Scutaro from June to September batted .229, .355, .274, .211 (.272 in 2nd half). He was shut down in September because of his ankle
  4. http://www.nydailynews.com/blogs/mets/2010/03/breaking-reyes-to-start-year-o.html Both Carlos Beltran and Jose Reyes will start the season the DL. Wow haha
  5. Rockies lock up Todd Helton through 2013. Deferred money from 2014 to 2023
  6. Sweet deal, love seeing that Faulk is coming back on a cheap 1 yr deal. Now its on to the draft, the most important draft in awhile for the Patriots IMO Faulk had turned down offers from the Redskins and Eagles http://www.boston.com/sports/football/patriots/?p1=SportsNav_Patriots
  7. Twins interested in Blue Jay's Jason Frasor
  8. Patriots signed linebacker/special teamer Marques Murrell, former NY Jet
  9. Im going to the season opener, it would be so awesome if he threw out the first pitch
  10. http://www.boston.com/sports/football/patriots/extra_points/2010/03/patriots_host_t.html Patriots host Alge Crumpler at Gillette Stadium
  11. Joe Nathan has been diagnosed with a torn ulnar collateral ligament. Big loss for Minnesota. Matt Guerrier could be favorite for saves
  12. Spring training stats (including college games)
  13. Very good news. Im not sure what kind of team the Pats will be this coming season... but good to see deals being worked out with Wilfork, Banta Cain, Neal and Bodden
  14. Solid deal. He's not among the elite, but's solid on the line as a pass rusher
  15. Jacko Ive said countless times I wouldnt be surprised if he puts up at least 20 HRs and 80 RBIs. Its not me praising him like he's a HOF or anything. This past season was a fluke year that involved having a freak injury And if Mike Lowell was a Red Sox in 2005, we'd have been all for moving on from him
  16. They wont start up talks about a new ballpark until Fenway celebrates its 100th anniversary. The real question is where to put a brand spanking new ballpark.
  17. http://www.boston.com/sports/baseball/redsox/extras/extra_bases/2010/02/red_sox_provide.html Sneak peek at the Sox's soon to be Spring Training Facility http://www.boston.com/sports/baseball/redsox/extras/extra_bases/february10sports/600newsoxcomplex1bview.jpg http://www.boston.com/sports/baseball/redsox/extras/extra_bases/february10sports/600newsoxcomplex.jpg
  18. Him tearing a testicle could happen again?? Perish the thought Lowell basically is good for 17 HRs/75 RBIs. Beltre will have a season of at least those numbers
  19. http://www.boston.com/sports/football/patriots/extra_points/2010/02/pats_bring_patt.html Patriots bring back David Patten http://www.csnne.com/pages/landing_patriots?Kraft-goes-deep-at-NFL-Combine=1&blockID=186090&feedID=3946 Robert Kraft has come out to say that he thinks a long term deal with Wilfork is close
  20. Not that far off from ST games starting up  AL East Yankees Red Sox (Wild Card) Rays Orioles Blue Jays AL Central Tigers White Sox Twins Guardians Royals AL West Mariners Angels Rangers Athletics NL East Phillies Braves Marlins Nationals- not by much over Mets Mets- Too many ifs, and a blah rotation behind Johan NL Central Cardinals Brewers Cubs Reds Pirates Astros NL West Rockies Dodgers (Wild Card) Diamondbacks Giants Padres
  21. Oh no I dont see Sproles as a main running back. But no complaints here about a running tandem of Sproles, Taylor, Morris and Faulk
  22. He didnt actually outright deny it:dunno: Wouldnt mind at all if Pats were to send Laurence Maroney and a draft pick to San Diego for Cromartie, then try and add Sproles to the backfield mix
  23. Dice-K showed up to camp last year, showing some extra pounds he gained in the offseason. He was also gearing himself up for the mighty WBC. Sox had totally regain control of his workout program because of that ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------- http://cache.boston.com/resize/bonzai-fba/Globe_Photo/2010/02/23/1266904327_3357/539w.jpg
