  1. Oh Captain my Captain, man he has just been rolling this month.. 7-5 EDIT: More luck as Coco gets an RBI double... 8-5 Nice Dusty, productive out to get Coco to 3rd with 1 out
  2. Ump has to be a Rangers fan. Lugo got an inside strike 2 call, it was more outside than Dice-K had on Ian Kinsler EDIT: Yooouk! 17 game hitting streak. Longest hitting streak for a Sox 1st baseman since Mo Vaughn's 16 game streak back in '98 f*** yea boys lets answer them back. Ortiz promptly drives in Youkilis with a double
  3. In the last 4 games, the best pitched game has been by Tavarez
  4. Ramon f***ing Vazquez Just like that, we are f***ing behind
  5. Im not saying he's melting down this game. Matsuzaka this season has had his most trouble in the 4th inning
  6. Umm meltdown 4th inning for Dice-K!! That play by Manny at 2nd base is looking very big now
  7. Manny's brain fart on the basepaths does indeed hurt the Sox. Men on 2nd & 3rd with no outs, nothing
  8. thanks Manny, really i mean that
  9. you gotta be f***ing kidding me Group of training staff surrounded Dice-K. He looked like he was rushing into the clubhouse
  10. Well his teammates since college have been calling him Dusty, thats where I got that from
  11. Aw dont call him Duddy Thats what Pedroia haters this offseason and Yankee fans have been calling him Yea Sosa!
  12. Give the kid consistent playing time and he will make his mark Dusty!!
  13. Teixeira thank you for swinging at a ball 4 pitch, double play
  14. ugh cmon dice this is the game thats in our favor to win
  15. http://redsox.bostonherald.com/redSox/view.bg?articleid=1003059&format=text Not concerning Arod, moreso about the seemingly never ending revolving door of players switching sides. Ortiz made me literally almost throw up with his quote in Time magazine saying he'll never rule out signing with the Yankees. While yes comforting to know hes signed thru 2011, I dont want to get that image ever in my head of him donning pinstripes
  16. Daisuke Matsuzaka this season on the road in 5 games, 4-1 record with a 3.77 ERA Brandon McCarthy this season at home in 4 games, 2-1 with a 7.80 ERA
  17. 700's best bud, Jsinger, chiming in on Curt at soxprospects.com
  18. Youkilis is going to be a bench player in 6 years?
  19. My bad, I just woke up and was replying to Gom's post. Just used to saying "Jacko..."
  20. Gom... that first game against Wake the Sox ended up losing by just 1 run, was because of Wakefield's inept run support. The Sox were facing f***ing Kei Igawa and couldnt do anything against him. In his last 9 losses, the Sox have given him a total of 10 runs of support. But yep Wakefield throws the exact same pitch 850 times in a row and thats why he's a horrible pitcher. 15 years in the bigs, 155 Ws, he deserves to be kicked in the ass Im sorry but Wang has figured out the Red Sox? He still allowed a lot of base runners in his last start and was beat by Tavarez last month. Dont forget also that he was opposed by Wakefield... good hunch he'll have luck on his side with Wakefield's bad luck with the Sox never backing him up with runs.
  21. Thanks Pineiro, he should be the one to go when Lester is ready to come back
  22. I was not aware of that at all really, true makes sense with Beckett coming back. Sox want to keep Schilling, Beckett, Dice-K in that order June 1- Daisuke Matsuzaka vs Tyler Clippard June 2- Tim Wakefield vs Chine-Ming Wang June 3- Curt Schilling vs Roger Clemens
  23. As it is currently constituted (rotation being as it is with Beckett coming back next week)... June 1- Tim Wakefield vs Tyler Clippard June 2- Julian Tavarez vs Chien-Ming Wang June 3- Curt Schilling vs Roger Clemens
  24. eek, no doubt he'll remain a 5/6 inning pitcher. He struggled just to get past Double A batters
