    Roger like in the NL Central last year can only give 5 or 6 innings (maybe occasional 7) while pitching in the AL East. Christ, he hasnt pitched for the Yankees yet and he's hurt. Instead of giving it 2 weeks he's going to push those tired legs to just a 5 day return.

    Yankee fans having faith in Clemens being a solid starter in the AL East is like a trusty but old rickety bridge. Sure its done you good in the past, and youve tried to put money in it, but odds are that it'll come crashing down We still didnt get swept and that was big, instead of 12.5 the Sox could right now be looking at 10.5 as they go on a west coast road trip. This team is still a good team regardless of the Yankees beating them last night. Beckett turned in a solid start (while again Tito kept playing the leave him in there too long card), Pedroia... yea thats all i have to say now It was a crummy game in the end, believe me I was there throughout. Coming up is a 4 game series against Oakalnd, all I ask is at least take 2 out of 4

    Hitting .350 at June 2nd, then ending the season at .260 that to me is a collapse

    All I said was that I dont see him being able to finish the year with an ERA under 4. That doesnt go on to suggest I think he'll collapse.

    Really Schilling has finished with seasons having ERAs under 4? You dont say I still dont get your knock on Youkilis, he is a good player. So the wager is that from now through September he'll go into a long slump to end up with a .260 avg? Duh I dont think he'll end up with a .350 avg, but I dont see him doing a drastic nosedive
