    I was happy about the fought hard win last night, its just cmon guys you are better than these stats: 2 runs or less in 9 out of last 17 games, 2 HRs last 7 games (Hinske, Varitek) As we've seen this month, good pitching cant always save the day. Today Beckett looks to be the first 12 game winner in baseball and further cement that he should start the all-star game for the AL Tejada this season on the road in 8 games, 3-4 with a 7.26 ERA Beckett this season at home in 9 games, 5-2 with a 4.67 ERA

    More silliness? Please youre going on to say that minor leaguers (such as top pitching prospect in the minors, Clay Bucholz) cant do a better job than Clemens' 5.34 ERA? You still think the Sox shouldve forked over $28 million pro-rated for this old version of Roger?

    My thoughts exactly. Even then I like Hinske better as a pinch hitter. Like Cora he is a lefty but he actually has some pop, also helps that he has a career homerun vs Davis. Cora could then come in the next inning as a defensive replacement
