    its not just on mlbtraderumors.com, it was being talked about nesn as well as an almost all day discussion on weei Im not a fan of Arod's person but damn to think of him having Fenway Park as his home... get goosebumps instantly. I think that especially if Lugo has a good 2nd half that theyll keep him and have Arod play 3rd I hate offseason talk in july when team is 1st place as much as anybody. But sometimes it can be fun. As I said during last offseason I hope Crisp has a good year to boost his trade value so Ellsbury can take stage for 2008 1. Ellsbury cf 2. Pedroia 2b 3. Ortiz dh 4. Ramirez lf 5. Rodriguez 3b 6.     Actually Teddy... Lugo looks like he's going to have a great 2nd half. All of a sudden he looks like the same guy we saw when he was with Tampa Bay July 11 games- 12 for 32 (.375 avg) (.459 obp) (.500 slg) (.959 ops) Double, HR, 6 RBIs, 5 Runs, 5 Walks, 2 Ks, 4 SBs

    2 days is awhile? I can undertsnd MDC pitching the 7th because he had been in the bullpen since the 5th inning off/on warming up

    I heard a cool idea on WEEI that would have Ortiz get the surgery out of the way so he's fresh for when October comes. The trade for Griffey takes place and he would mainly be the DH until Ortiz comes back. Plus he could platoon with Drew in right Griffey is signed through next year at $12.5 million. He has a $16.5 million option year for 2009 but can be bought out at $5 million

    Offering Bucholz shouldnt be an option at all, so why list it? Pineiro is just coming off of the DL and hasnt been an effective starter for awhile now, and he's our best option to take over the 5th starter? Gag me with a fork please BTW options #1 and #3 are basically the same option

    You know Tito... you couldve just started the inning with a different pitcher as much as it was obvious to do so EDIT: I was just about to say the same thing Schil. He goes 4 innings, gives up 4 runs (couldve been 5 if not for Manny's assist)... and that merits a standing ovation to exit the game? I say "oh please " to those fans who did that
