  1. Lets see how long it gets Tito to warm up the bullpen.
  2. Home plate umpire's strike zone has been shrinking. Only way Lester can get strikes is from foul balls or actual swings and misses EDIT: Get the bullpen up!!!
  3. Sad way to die http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/bk/bkn/5073074.html
  4. True. Guilty of getting ahead of myself with 5 innings still to go Yes Mussina vs Escobar should be in the bag for the Angels
  5. 7-2 by Lugo, f***ing A!! So Gom was saying something about that the Sox are pathetic sticks, and guaranteed that they will lose 2 or get swept this series...
  6. August 5th in Seattle. A span of 16 games, 56 ABs
  7. The home plate umpire just for the heck of it gives 6+ ERA Sonnanstine another K, Youk clearly held up
  8. Not a good 2nd inning. Drew while he did put a good ride into it, it was still a 1 pitch 1st out of the inning, followed by foolish strikeouts by Varitek and Coco. I swear Drew better pick it up next season. His contract has been one of the biggest jokes of the 06 offseason. This guy is geting paid more than Ortiz
  9. Thank you Ortiz/Manny combo are on a f***ing roll, driving in runs left and right. Good time as any for them to get hot at the same time for the stretch run
  10. Tell the Sox offense that this guy isnt a soft tossing lefty
  11. Just f***ing win, you f***ers Lester this season on the road in 5 games, 2-0 with a 6.90 ERA
  12. Pena was getting s*** for ABs this year, and s*** for ABs next year with an outfield of Manny, Crisp or most likely Ellsbury, and Drew. For the better of the team in need of a true bench player, and for the better of the player, it was the right move to send him to Washington. Im happy for him, he's finally getting the starting gig
  13. Just a solid pickup. According to Sean MacAdams, good possibility of him joining the team in September if acquired before then Carter's stats 125 games- 163 for 499 (.327 avg) (.386 obp) (.525 slg) (.911 ops) 39 Doubles, 3 Triples, 18 HRs, 84 RBIs, 74 Runs, 50 Walks, 67 Ks, 2 SBs
  14. He wont be facing the Yanks next week as its set up as Matsuzaka, Beckett, Schilling. His next 2 starts are Chicago, Baltimore EDIT: Didnt realize "Schil" noted that before me
  15. Its f***ing on! Friends and family havent seen me this positive about each game (including losses) since the Sox won games 4 & 5 against the Yankees. This team is too talented not to get to the playoffs. Onto tomorrow, Lester vs Sonnanstine
  16. Just f***ing win, f***ers Wakefield this season vs Tampa Bay in 3 games, 3-0 with a 2.21 ERA. At Tropicana Field in 1 game, 1-0 with a 1.50 ERA. On the road in 11 games, 5-6 with a 4.21 ERA Kazmir this season vs Boston in 3 games, 0-1 with a 1.50 ERA. At home in 14 games, 3-3 with a 3.04 ERA
  17. Temporarily? No he's here to stay with the Sox for the rest of the season
  18. A-Rod hits a towering HR over the Green Monster. He acts like he popped the damn thing up. Was that showing up the pitcher? BTW this was the first time Ive seen ortiz watch his one of his homeruns
  19. Oh well one game. I knew going into today that it wouldve been a loss. Tho I thought it would be because of Julian Tavarez. The offense did again show some life at the end of the game (happening more recently), but they are facing K-Rod after all. Kielty had a great Sox debut with 2 hits and robbing Kotchman of a 2 run HR in the 1st inning. I really believe he will be a solid presence off of the bench. Gagne had a great outing as well, tho it came with the Sox trailing Am I panicking? Nope not in the least. The rotation, offense, and bullpen is too talented not to take advantage of the next 7 games before they head on to New York for the biggest series of the year. Every pitch counts! This is baseball, the clock is ticking to the end of the season... its f***ing on f***ers!
  20. Yea Gom youre right Beckett is a 1 year wonder... Maybe you were right when you said during the offseason that 2006 is what Beckett will be for the rest of his career. Who would want this Jason Johnson-esque type pitcher on their staff? Get off your pedestal and realize that he is a damn good pitcher How is that denial going for you? You try to make us feel bad that he is 12th in baseball (5th in the AL), its at f***ing 3.15 you twit. 3.15 in the AL f***ing East Ok your game. Wang is 46th in the majors in ERA at 4.09, and if you discount the NL completely, he is 22nd in the AL
