So... not running Pedroia. Not pinch-hitting for Shoppach.
I was pretty sure that the lack of lolligagging in spring training, and Bobby V's tight ship and new approach were supposed to lead to a much better prepared team than 2011. Weird how s*** doesn't work out sometimes.
******** on the FO. If you think they should have put Padilla out there then that means they had the right guy, he was just mismanaged.
It doesn't take a closer to shut down a 3 run lead.
My wife has been subtly giving me s*** all day... long game, beautiful day outside. Garden needs planting, kitchen needs cleaning, but I'm risking home-happiness by watching this game.
Man, I wish life was easy.
Is it a bad thing that I'm starting to like Padilla? Hes the newest incarnation of Julian Tavarez and Alfredo Aceves... he just doesn't give a s*** about you.
Youkilis will be traded mid season unless he's hitting considerably better. Middlebrooks is ready, is a better fielder and might be more dynamic player at this point. I hope Youks makes a return to being decent, but he's sure looking inept so far.
f***ing pathetic start. Ellsbury has a chance to make a statement, to stop the bleeding, and it falls out of his f***ing glove... just like last year. A 4-0 hole in the 1st. The absolute last thing this team needs. Goddamn it.
