  1. Matsuzaka is at 80 pitches. He may have 2 more innings left in him, if he's good. EDIT: Short term memory is bad. 83 pitches, yes, eighty THREE.
  2. These sox are a pain in the ass. SO f***ing patient. Excuse me for the potty-fingers. It's friday, what can I say? We want the bullpen!!!!! We want the bullpen!!!!! Yayyyy!
  3. over 100 pitches already? Wow
  4. I want Coco Crisp to get a plate appearance. this would be a good time for him.
  5. BIG f***ING PAPI RUMBLING HOME Hey Jacko, is this the Yankee team you said was going to be in much better shape when Posada was back? Baseball is a game of inches. Sox take the lead RIGHT BACK. Huge.
  6. Against the Yankees you don't bring in the pen unless you absolutely MUST. Dice-K will get back out there, pitch from the windup and have to hold it together. Not Tito's fault. He has to go through this. He paid for the walks and gave up a bloop single and a cricket-swat to right.
  7. Jesus Dice-K, just don't f***ing walk people and you'll be okay. f***!! We can certainly win against 4, but you got to get the look of a champion my man!!
  8. Make damon put the ball in play here.
  9. remy's talking about the changeup and how it hasn't been used as much. The sox were saying it was his best pitch during spring training. Douggy Monkeywits can collect his case of champaigne from Tek after the game.
  10. Big K. Get that confidence back kid. Come on. I can see why they say a 26 year old player who has been playing in Japan for 7 years is an MLB rookie. This s*** looks hard. I'm very happy to not be in his shoes right now.
  11. These Yankee hitters don't give an inch. Just remember folks, this guy is under TREMENDOUS pressure. He has the weight of the world on his shoulders (if I may cliche it for a second).
  12. Shite. Little bitch bloop hit, 2-1, bases loaded, 0 out.
  13. I don't blame him for pitching carefully to Giambi and A-Rod. Of course, to Giambi, mising by 3 feet up and away isn't really pitching carefully.
  14. Jesus, quiet around here for a yankee game.
  15. C'mon Dice-K. You aren't getting all the calls, but settle down. Giambi is tough to pitch to, hit the outside corner on matsui with changeups and look for the DP.
  16. I don't like Dice-K vs. Giambi. I like him very much against Abreu. This ump isn't giving much love, plus I hate how he calls strikes. He doesn't appear familiar to me, as I've watched a ton of baseball and think I would remember being annoyed like this.
  17. WHERE THE HELL DID THAT MISS?
  18. No f***ing love on that inside corner. That's a great spot to miss right there.
  19. Dice-K is pitching very well. Every pitch has been about 8 inches off the ground. When he's missing he is largely missing down.
  20. mmmmmmmmm ball three to damon. Great pitch.
  21. Nice!! Is that like hitting a home run by accident, like uncorking a wild pitch? I'm sick of Sosa and Bonds.
  22. This looks like it could be one of "those" innings for dice-k. Knock on wood. Sometimes he just hits his spots like very few others do, a few times this year for an inning or two.
