Oh, okay. I don't know much Japanese, but I did know the basic translation of that thanks to my fiancee's father. I tried to get him to teach me Japanese curses and this came up and he explained to me that it's used despite it not actually making sense in the context of "f*** you" by people who don't know better. I (and likely he) didn't realize it probably stemmed from this anime, as I've never really watched any.

There is no literal translation, but it's basically a word that means 'idiot' or 'fool' or '*******', but perhaps not in as vulgar of a form as the phrase implies. I wasn't going to say anything...but since you brought it up, it doesn't actually make a lot of sense.

Does anyone know how I can listen to Castiglione? Every AM channel I usually listen to the games on has been coopted by the ESPN radio announcers. I know Castiglione has been calling games but I have no idea where to listen. Even WEEI.com has been taken over by ESPN radio.

I'm just saying, there are a lot of Patriots fans and a lot of Yankees fans in my area; they're basically identical in attitude towards fans of other teams.

Spoken like someone who hasn't spent the "Patriots Dynasty" years and afterward in an area completely populated by Patriots fans.

That's not that weird here in CT...neither is Sox/Giants. When you have more than one team in your general geographic area, you end up with different choices in different sports for different reasons. Besides, the Patriots are basically the Yankees of football.

Wow, I didn't even think about that. All of the games have been so close that they had that "do or die" feeling. What a stressful few weeks it's been.

Just because someone is a Sox fan doesn't automatically make them a Patriots fan. I hate when people assume I'm a Patriots fan when they see me wearing Sox gear.
