  1. I know, especially since Hank Aaron, Pokey Reese and Jerry Remy are the only players ever to hit nineteen run jacks.
  2. Lets go Stin-ett, lets go *clap clap clap*
  3. All CAiro needs is a nineteen run homer. EDIT: Or the Guardians could commit seventeen consecutive errors.
  4. Melky singles in the ninth to start the Yankees' comeback!
  5. No one found that stat about Wright even mildy surprising, huh?
  6. Its not so much the three homers that bother me, its the fact that they were to the 7 and 8 hole hitters. Wigginton and Branyan? These guys are Triple A meat at best.
  7. Haha, Lugo can't handle Youk's balls.
  8. I can see the Fenway Faithful waving Tampons in the air everytime Tampa Bay comes to town.
  9. Kazmir at least worked last inning, hes already at 53 pitches.
  10. Show her a picture of Randy Johnson and she might date you just because you arent him.
  11. Doesnt Gomes' MLB photo make him look a little like Neil Patrick Harris?
  12. At least Kazmir cant pitch a perfect game now.
  13. First hit of the night for the Sox. Unfortunately, it wasn't BY a batter.
  14. I dont think that's his wife.
  15. Wanna see something really bizarre? I was looking at Jaret Wrights' game by game log on MLB.com, because the MLB.com article about Interleague said that he had the only gamewinning hit by an AL pitcher. I was sure he didnt, and that his only RBI came in the 5-0 win at Philidelphia, and was in fact a game winning sac fly, not a hit. I was right. Anyways, when looking at the stat list, notice that not only did he throw the EXACT SAME number of pitches in May AND June, he threw the SAME amount for strikes. The odds of that happening have to be astronomical. http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/stats/individual_player_gamebygamelog.jsp?c_id=mlb&playerID=124605&statType=2
  16. Retrosheet.org is pretty much divine.
  17. How often do you see a game with guys named Yorvit and Yuniesky playing simultaneously?
  18. I was almost certain that Matt Clement would turn himself back into what he was before last season's All Star Break.
  19. Josh Fogg pitched his first career shutout, against Seattle. He allowed two hits and one walk, but all were erased by double plays so he still faced the minimum 27 batters.
  20. I will fully admit that I have voted for Mauer. The man is incredible.
