I'm really loving the lack of recent success among the teams left in the postseason. If the Dodgers win the final DS, the four LCS teams will have a combined 227 years without a World Series win. If the Nationals win, it's 246 years. No matter what happens now, we'll get to see a team that hasn't won since at least when I was a kindergarten student celebrate a World Series championship. That's pretty cool. And that's only the Jays. The Dodgers haven't won since I was 1, there are only a handful of people left in the world who were alive when the Cubs last won, the Guardians haven't won since the Truman administration, and the Nationals have never won, including a bunch of uninspiring years as the Expos. Even after the crushing disappointment of a Sox loss, I can't wait to see who goes all the way this year.
