  1. Damn! Off the bat that looked fair.
  2. I wouldn't. Why tire him out when everyone in the bullpen is rested? Masterson and/or Oki.
  3. He's struck out four of the last five batters, how does he not get that call? Even Anderson thought it was a strike.
  4. Hey Figgins, here's some more glue for your shoulder.
  5. Haha Matthews trying to look nonchalant. Douche. Come on Pedroia...insurance!
  6. Lowrie, don't argue that s***, you're eleven years old.
  7. Most crucial inning of the game for him, and what does he do after being given the lead? Hm, nothing much, just STRIKE OUT THE f***ING SIDE. Jon Lester is amazing.
  8. I am now convinced that Lester never went to a hospital for his cancer. It is obvious he simply stared it down, challenged it, and struck it out.
  9. You have to be happy for Bay. After so long in Pittsburgh, playing in his first postseason game, he looks overmatched at first, and then after two strikeouts, he comes back and HAMMERS one. GO CANADA!
  10. EDIT: Upon further reflection, I realized that the Brewers can't pitch themselves past the first round. CC is going to run out of gas in inning three of game two. Cubs sweep Phillies in 4
  11. I would just like everyone to know that today, I recieved tickets to the first ALDS game at Fenway. You may now all begin to kiss my ass.
  12. I hate domes as well, which is why I want Minnesota to win, because they can play in the Trop in a best of 7 a bit better, due to the similarities between their respective affronts to baseball. Er, I mean, artifically turfed bastardized stadiums. Er, I mean domes. As for Griffey and Thome, I can't think of two guys on the same team that I would love to see get their first ring more, except maybe on my Rockies. I hate the ChiSox, but if they make it all the way, I'll be rooting for them to bring it home for those two, at least. Especially against the Cubs, because that would be funny.
  13. So, regarding the one-game tiebreaker today, who is everyone rooting for? I mean, obviously as Sox fans we are rooting for whomever has the best chance of beating TB. I personally think Minnesota. So I'm putting duct tape on one of my old Sox shirts, over the Sox logo on the front and the name on the back, and then taping a piece of paper over the number. Bam. Instant ghetto Blackburn jersey!
  14. I do too! Where are you seated?
  15. Even if the Sox could clinch the division with a win?
  16. Oh no, what will this do to their postseason hopes?!
  17. That is a very good point. Cain and Lincecum are great young pitchers, so why have they not had more great young wins? Mostly because they keep losing 1-0, 2-1, 2-0, or getting no decisions after pitching nine scoreless. Until the Giants can pick up at least two players who can give them .290/25-30/100+, they will continue to lose games even with great pitching.
  18. Goddamn Orioles. I mean, I really , really did want to root for them to win whenever they weren't playing the Sox, for Ami...but they are making it so hard. 6-5 all of a sudden? Geez.
