    Not to open this whole argument up again, but yeah, okay. Branch Rickey wasn't a racist. Neither were some other people. But as a whole, percentagewise, American culture was bascially racist and segregated. We all know this. Look at it now. Everything is pretty integrated. There are prejudices, sure, but everyone is more or less equal. And yet, there are still KKK members (though the numbers are dwindling), there are still racist organizations. They are just a small demented fraction of the population. Now reverse that. That was 1910.

    So I don't really know a lot about transactions or financial stuff, am I to understand that, in laymans terms, Agon is only signed right now for one season and might not play beyond that? Because I don't like the sound of that. On the other hand, I can't imagine the FO letting that happen. There must be some behind the scenes stuff going on right now.

    I think we can handle it. We handled Crespo, we can handle anything! Seriously though, I don't think anyone defending him in here would continue if they could read the PM he sent me. Now, back to the thread topic, one of the reasons I will not actually answer is because I tend not to know or understand a lot about acquisitions. I don't really have any idea how to guess who the Sox will sign in the offseason, so my roster would have a lot of holes. I've always been less-than-great when it comes to the 'business' side of baseball. I'm more of a 'on the field' guy, which includes stats and stuff. Contracts, free agency, drafts, and all that? I have no clue. I will say though that I am confident that Dustin Pedroia will be playing for the Red Sox in 2011
