  1. Oh man how awesome would it be if Kozma f***ed up on the basepaths and ran the Cardinals out of this inning.
  2. Yeah, no complaints about pitcher management in the postseason from Farrell. He hasn't made even a Little mistake.
  3. I don't really see the need for Koji to go for two. I like the idea of it, the feeling of security it gives me, but Game 2 seems like a bad time to start overworking your closer. Breslow has been, frankly, almost as reliable this postseason.
  4. Allen Craig is currently sitting on the bench asking when he's due up. It'll sink in in a few seconds.
  5. Refusing to get drunk two nights in a row? What the hell kind of Midwesterner are you?!
  6. I can understand that, and I sort of agree, with the stipulation that if the Sox blow the game open in the bottom of the 7th, save Koji.
  7. Lackey should come back for the 8th if he's not at 100 after the seventh.
  8. Wacha at over 100, Lackey at 80. Complain all you want about strikeouts or whatever else, the value of taking pitches regardless of the outcome of an at-bat cannot be ignored.
  9. I don't hate Pete Kozma. On the contrary, I think he's the best player for the Sox so far in the World Series.
  10. JE, you are rapidly straying from funny to bizarre and rather discomfiting.
  11. Jesus would be a terrible pitcher. He and the catcher would always get crossed up.
  12. No, because Dane Cook is as funny as Mr. Rogers' death.
  13. I guess you needed to be reminded what those look like.
  14. Phase 1: Show them on TV for five seconds Phase 2: Mission accomplished
  15. Well it looks like your prayers were answered. ...with a "no".
  16. All of the same people on TV and radio who picked the Tigers in 6 or 7 are now picking the Cardinals in 6 or 7. I give those predictions the same credence I gave the ALCS predictions. To wit, none whatsoever. The Sox are the Sox. Go Sox. Sox in 6.
  17. For 200 dollars you might be able to buy a semi-decent pair of binoculars to watch the game from a rooftop several blocks away. You sure aren't getting a ticket for that price.
  18. I looked up Leyland's bio after I saw a700's post. He's only 68. Holy s***, if that's what smoking does to you, I'm quitting. The man looks like he's pushing the century mark. When my grandfather was 68 he looked about twenty years younger than Leyland.
