  1. Bump... Suns win tonight in a very close game. Vladimir Radmonivic went off in the fourth quarter and almost lifted them to victory, but Steve Nash was huge and so was Shawn Marion. Still going to be a hard fought series. Also, the Heat take a 2-1 lead, even with Vince Carter going for 43 and absolutely EMBARASSING Alonzo Mourning AGAIN! Nasty dunk.
  2. That's pretty pathetic. He's obviously doing it for the money.
  3. Congrats again man! I hope you have a great life together!
  4. That's what I said in the game thread last night but 26 to 6 shot that idea down. (except I didn't say who you guys would trade, I just said I wouldn't be suprised if you got Alfonso again). You think it's possible too?
  5. Welcome!
  6. Guillen...Maybe. I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to get Soriano back to play outfield.
  7. Yeah dude...I mean why would Milwaukee do something like that? That would cause them to go backwards (they are on the rise, and getting unproven rookies, would set them back some time).
  8. Wow, great outcome. 5-3, and Rivera giving up a run is a good sign On another note, Matsui's injury was nasty (I just saw it as I didn't catch much of the game), poor guy...I may hate the Yankees but I don't wish harm on anyone. Nice series, and hopefully it goes like this alot.
  9. We finished awful. Weren't even CLOSE to the playoffs. Regardless, I'm done arguing this...it's pointless. When did you become such a Kobe apologist See Red? EDIT: Before I stop...if you want to bring last year in too...look at what happened when Nash got hurt...we went 1-10 and Amares PPG went from around 30 to around 20, his rebound total dropped significantly. Marion's PPG dropped roughly 8 per and his rebound total went down ( not as much but down significantly). Point is without Steve Nash we don't do a thing. Everyone this year (Diaw, Barbosa, Jones, Bell) all have had great years due to Nash...believe it or not. I live here and get to see it alot and know. They wouldn't be the players they were if it weren't for Nash. PERIOD. Same goes for Amare and Shawn; although they would be still be great, they wouldn't be mentioned in the "Best players in the NBA" category. It just wouldn't be that way. Look at what YOU said See Red..."Amare wasn't the player he was yet (before Nash...)" even you know it but aren't aware of it.
  10. HA! Lamar Odom would like a word with you... Regardless, defense isn't 90% effort, you have to have instincts and athletic ability too. Defense is probably 50% effort, 50% athletic ability...I mean you can try all you want but if your no athlete your screwed. I agree, to a point that effort might be lacking, but Nash made our team. Regardless of what you think...
  11. No his point is you talk s*** here when you're winning, and you leave when you're losing, to avoid the s*** coming your way.
  12. Doesn't matter...you said you take your lumps when their warranted...and I said what about last night...I'd say last night was warranted...regardless of how good/bad we're doing tonight...
  13. Yeah... It's rough though, because I'm here in class...and like something happens and then no-one posts for like 2-3 minutes and it seems like hours...
  14. LMAO...WOW! IMO Post of the Day.
  15. I assume the Yankees are winning?
  16. Ahh, man our whole team didn't play D. That's obvious when we allow the Clippers to shoot 59%. But quick question for you...What WOULD you call Kobe in Game 7, if it's not a dissappearing act, or a chokejob? Selfish? A Team-wrecker? :dunno: In my (and most people's) opinion, an MVP doesn't mail it in on his team, he tries until the horn sounds. And NO person can say Nash doesn't try.
  17. What's it around the 5th inning or so...?
  18. I really can't say (because I can't see) but if it was anything like his dive into Cano, or even his dive into the stands play...it probably wasn't that great...
  19. Like the play where he bowled over Robinson Cano last year and everyone dubbed it "THE BEST PLAY IN THE HISTORY OF BASEBALL!!1!!!11"
