Read Damon's comments in today's Globe Red Sox notebook. He is adament about Millar (and Bellhorn) and what he feels management is doing the team. Quite interesting.
He deserves it? It's not for lack of effort he blows saves. He doesn't go out there with the intention "oh I think I'll blow this game today." God. Imagine how hard it is for him to let his teammates down.
Oh of course. With his offense. But it's no good when his defense was severely lacking. I was sad to see him go. He was my favorite before Bell came here.
I am just glad that we didn't get him. It's a shame at times, though, when you see how good he is statistically and how our shortstop is leading in errors.
