  1. oh. That's f***ing stupid they voted it out, but s*** like table tennis is played?(unless thats been voted out too)
  2. well it's all pretty much in the arms and the legs, and if you look at those pitchers their legs and arms tended to be a bit thin and built up, but there midsections are fat. if that makes any sense lol
  3. This baseball classic garbage won't last too long. I'm sure a few injuries will occur this year, and during the next one and soon owners will be raising hell about it, and Selig will have to cancel it. It's pointless.
  4. Honestly, this is the only Yankee i've ever liked. I hope he comes back, anywhere.
  5. and nothing of value was lost
  6. now i really hope CC goes somewhere else, and wins a cy young.
  7. I'm starting to like this guy. really, f*** Boras.
  8. I don't like the Lester one. I think he'll do better. Hopefully the Ellsbury one is close to true.
  9. Ban this prick from baseball. Goddamn
  10. Thank god, this might lower my blood pressure a bit next season. Everytime he came in I thought I was going to have a stroke.
  11. lol when i saw this on the front page i saw the title as "Yankees in talks with Rockies..." and i thought it would finish with "for Matt Holliday" but then I saw Willy Tavera's and laughed. The Yanks are really gunning for the division next year with this thinking
  12. I don't think i've been this heartbroken since Kevin Millar filed for free agency.
  13. a700hitter, I respect you, and your opinion, but really this is kinda ridculous. Wake may have given up 13 runs, but other pitchers had bad games. 3 other games were lost. I doubt just having Schilling pitch would of made a difference. Who knows how he could of done? He's a man, not a machine, and in all honesty he is an old man(by baseball standards). At 41 and the way he pitches anything could of went down.
  14. This could go many ways. It's a team effort, not just a Schilling effort.
  15. No, it does not. Manny might of, but it was at the end anyway, and he was gone. It's what needed to happen. It was best for both sides. I am happy he got to play in LA, and I was glad the red sox had jason bay and he enjoyed sucess here. What I am basically getting at is why Schilling hasn't given up on this whole thing yet. He is the only one who talks about it over and over again. No one else on the team has anything to say. Schilling can talk all he wants, normally it does bother me a bit but this is just dragging on and on. He won't be satisfied till either him or Manny is dead.
  16. Give me a break.
  17. still did damn well. I never would of suspected
  18. Lowe or Burnett? Lowe who could come here 4 years older then when he left here, and wasn't all that great when he left, or Burnett who will probably pitch 2 starts and go on the DL until august and make 3 more? Yeah.
  19. Good I am glad they are doing this. If he pitches like he has the last few seasons, they could keep activating the deal for the next 10 years and I wouldn't mind. Would be nice if he could cut down on the random games where he is just horrible, but still.
