    WTF? A guy who is 34 and never pitched in the big leagues? Wow. I'm surprised, thats not typical yankeeness. i thought they would get a 34 year old who has pitched great for years but is past his prime now and hasn't pitched a decent season since 2003.

    yeah, fenway is great, you'll love it. the first time i went i wasnt even a baseball or red sox fan and i loved it. its uncomfortable there though, so be prepared. and yes, food prices are high. i got a soda, fenway frank, and some fries for 21 dollars.

    All that talk about Schilling made me remember this interesting info.: Television analysts offered some interesting insight into Curt Schilling's appearance in the ninth inning of last night's game. Rick Sutcliffe, on ESPN2, quickly analyzed that Schilling wasn't pushing off the rubber effectively with his surgically repaired ankle, saying he ''had no drive at all.'' ''I'd be surprised if he's thrown in this role again,'' he went on to say. ''He's not ready to pitch at this level.'' Dennis Eckersley offered his thoughts after the game as well. ''Throwing the splitter shows there's no confidence in your gas [fastball],'' he said. From that rotoworld thingy on BDD. That guy who managed philly last year also said that on baseball tonight.

    Bellhorn is hitting .218. Now that is a definate problem. hes not scoring runs or driving them in. I really hope they do something soon. No matter what pedroia would do better
