  1. Wow! I saw that on TV this morning. Very serious stuff. I hope he will be alright. I know about bad head injuries first hand because my dad fell down the stairs in our house and hit his head hard, and was unconcious. He got released from the hospital 2 days later and everything seems fine, but a like a month or 2 later he had to go back because he had a blood clot in his dead that developed after leaving the hospital. He could of died both times, easily. He still gets headaches sometimes, and this was almost 10 years ago. So that goes to show, Mike Camereon is lucky right now, and hopefully will stay lucky. He could of been dead and still has a chance to die from that.
  2. That's one hell of a stat right there. GOt any idea of the RBI numbers in those at bats?
  3. Just saw it on baseball tonight. Stupid play. No one who plays baseball is gonna slump around the mound angry like that after a call.
  4. That's pretty good, even if that low of an at-bat total. Hopefully we see similar results in the postseason
  5. Welcome back
  6. After reading that the first person that came to mind is Randy Johnson.
  7. Wow, we have an amazingly pitching rich farm system! Really good to hear.
  8. Yes. He gives me a chance to win, and on top of that, who really knows how accurate/true the steriod tests are?
  9. I thought it was really good, but i don't see why it's so hyped.
  10. Opening against the rangers suck. I wish they'd open a series at fenway against a better team. But it looks fun. Interleague seems awesome.
  11. Am I the only who saw that on sportsceneter and wasn't too impressed?
  12. I was looking at an AOL article on Terrell Owens and there was these 2 polls about him and Palmeiro. Interesting what people thought. It's a surprise to me that Raffy is less disliked then Owens after the steriod incident. But i still like Palmeiro, and i absolutely hate Owens.
  13. Yup, he is doing very well and i am impressed with him. The 4-4 game the other day in my opinion solidified a starting spot even when Bellhorn comes back.
  14. Why not throw schilling in for a start or 2 and let Timlin or someone else close?
  15. Right now... Randy Johnson. Carlos Beltran too, like Sizzlin said. And Adrian Beltre.
  16. Remy is the man, so is Orsillo. They are so funny. Glad to see he got resigned. It wouldn't be a regular sox game without them to me.
  17. Wow. slapping balls, kicking balls, His whole career must be like a homosexual kung fu porno movie.
  18. haha, looking at guybos website is funny. Why? Cause he's an idiot. I mean, look at this: IF this guy saw Orlando's stats as of now he'd know why. .309 OBP .360 SLG .253 AVG. renteria owns him in those categories. 343 OBP .384 SLG .278 AVG. Renteria has scored 68 runs and orlando scored nearly half. Haha, he wasn't traded. I love it when these ignorant fans who bash players don't even know hoiw players got there. Thanks for playing, but you lost. OWNED
  19. Maybe next year. God it feels great to say that.
  20. from rotoworld.com: Alex Cora went 0-for-4 and committed two errors today in his first career start at third base. Red Sox manager Terry Francona has made some baffling moves during his tenure, but starting Cora at third base and Tony Graffanino at second base on the same day takes the cake. Graffanino has quite a bit of experience at third base. Cora doesn't, having played the position for the first time last month and committing an error in three innings then. Add in that Cora is the far superior defensive second baseman and today's arrangement made absolutely no sense. Francona is fortunate it didn't cost the Red Sox a win. Cora's second error did cause them to have to bring Curt Schilling into a game that never should have been in doubt
  21. Graffanino is considered a Utility infielder, and he's played more career games at 3rd. Why not put Graf there, and Cora at 2nd?
  22. Why the heck is Alex Cora playing 3rd base when he has not played it his whole ML career AND we have Youkilis tearing it up in AAA? Youkilis is a freakin major leaguer. In like 3 games at 3B Cora has 3 errors and a .571 Fielding PCT. What the hell... What is Francona thinking?
  23. Anastacio Martinez is still around? I thought they released him. Good, i Kind of liked him.
  24. If this happens it would be like a screwed up christmas.
  25. Wow, what a sad story. Very sad. And bringing sheffield into this was kinda...Tasteless.
