I really wouldn't want a lot of money tied up in Alex Rodriguez who (at some point soon) may be linked to HGH. He craves attention and somehow trouble finds him. Mike Lowell is a great team player, a stud at the corner, and has shown no signs of old age to this point. This is a excellent Red Sox team that can stay together next season....this is not 2004 where we have a ton of free agents next season.

I believe Mike Lowell leads the team with a .429 BA in the WS He also had that great stolen base at 3rd last night Not to mention Lowell scored the tieing run in the 2nd game and drove in the winning run All due respect to Ellsbury, Beckett, Pedroia, and the rest of the team....I think the award has to go to Mike Lowell

I agree...2004 may not have had the overall talent of 2007 but they were a damn fun team to watch and the character was crazy and full of idiots. You can make an argument that the 2004 team had even more pressure and obstacles to overcome than the team this season Either way I love both teams including all the teams in between with the ups and downs to get to this point
