  1. 7 games against the Angels for the rest of the regular season. Big contest for the Sox. Games left: Royals (3) Devil Rays (7) Tigers (3) Orioles (6) Blue Jays (7) Athletics (3) White Sox (1) Angels (7) Yankees (6) 23 home games and 20 away games
  2. From what I have heard this move would be mainly to give Timlin a break. He has a ton of innings at this point and although has continued to dominate....he needs a break. Hansen won't solve our lefty problem but if he is strong enough it might not matter. Bradford, Gonzalez, Myers, and Timlin have all been solid and only one lefty is included there. Guess I don't really care about the matchup as long as the pitcher is steady. Does anyone have an update as to when Foulke gets back or when they think he will be back??
  3. I say go for it. This kid has the attitude and much better stuff than Cla Meredith could ever hope to have. I've heard he looks better than Manny Delcarmen and if thats the case we should expect nothing less. He might have a rough outting but Terry just needs to play him and get him some innings to find a groove. V-tek can certainly help the kid along. Even if he gets roughed up a little its not any worse than Remlinger.
  4. did Remlinger just pitch 1.2 innings and give up 1 hit??.....that just confuses the hell out of me
  5. They should send Millar down to Pawtucket and let him figure out his swing....I bet you he would never make it back...kinda the way Bellhorn is going
  6. He had a hell of a game today....killed a nice looking rally...basically didnt do a damn thing. I also don't see him pinch hitting against lefties....he can't hit them...look at his average. I will say Millar is pretty good at fouling off pitches....completely unbalanced on every swing, no power.....worthless
  7. good fight....deciding factor was Wells not being ready to pitch today...tough loss...Yankees are seeing that and drooling
  8. beautifully done....COME ON PAPI
  9. that Shelton HR looks pretty big now
  10. just like i said..mueller and graff coming in with 1 out
  11. so I think its safe to assume Mueller and Graffanino are coming in this inning with one out
  12. I wonder if Wells just forgot to warm-up today
  13. v-tek....last at bat of the inning
  14. again...welcome back Johnny Helmet
  15. no way! "beat up"?.....well i guess if he was getting a day off this is the time to do it....get ready for the Angels series
  16. Wells can still make it through 6 innings....would be nice to shut them down durring that stretch....slowly chop away.....would be nice to have Manny in there though
  17. well this game isnt over...Wells can still make a game of this
  18. needed that in the worst possible way
  19. someone help me figure this out..... Bonderman is a righty....why is Millar in there when he is a righty and Petagine is a lefty???????
  20. well almost a great inning.....thanks to the rally killer again
  21. all Graffanino does is hit....awesome...everyone rules...except for Millar
  22. wow would have been a huge inning if we didnt have millar in the lineup
