  1. I bet the next time he faces the dead sox the results will be different.
  2. I am not calling for Mo's head. He is still the best closer in the game. I'm not worried about him, its only the 3rd game in a long season, he'll bounce back. I bet the next time he pitches against the Sox the results will be diffrent.
  3. Mo didin't blow it today A-rod did
  4. Hey foulke blew the save yesterday
  5. I was gonna wait until the series was over to post. The Sox do not have Mo's number. He didn't blow that save A-Rod did. Closers always walk people its part of the game. After the error he just coudn't stop the momentum. Hey today was a big day for blown saves. There were a lot of them. I still think the Yankees will win the series in Fenway and the lost won't be against Schilling. If Johnson pitching against him we all know who the superior pitcher.
  6. AL East-Yankees AL Central-Twins AL West-Angels AL Wild Card- Mariners/Red Sox, I would give the edge to mariners because the yankees are in the East NL East-Braves (Because they always find a way) NL Central-Cardinals NL West-Giants NL Wildcard Mariners or Phillies ALDS-Yanks over Mariners ALDS-Twins over Angels ALCS-Yanks over Twins NLDS-Phillies or Marlins over Braves NLDS-Cardinals over Giants NLCS-Cardinals over Marlins or Phillies Series-Yanks over Cardinals
  7. I figured the Sox fans would jump right on this. They have nothing better to do than bash the greatest sports franchise in history because they are jealous.I know you all gonna say your not but, that's what it all boils down too. Yea ya won the Series last year woop-de-doo. yea maybe it was the greatest comeback in sports history Ok I'll give ya that. But Game 7 of the 2003 ALCS was right up there with greatest comebacks. The bills against the oilers in 1992 was also up there with the greatest comebacks.
  8. They mostlt lost out on having Pedro's mystique on the mound. He made people alter there game plans when facing him. In exception of the Yankees he dominated most of the games he pitched in until he threw 100 pitches then he went to s***.
  9. Yea well its funny that he did what he did last year with a bum knee
  10. I agree, but I think best mound presence would have to be Roger Clemens or Randy Johnson Plate Presance Barry Bonds and A-Rod and Ichiro
  11. That's why we Yankee fans love Red Sox fans like you. I'll qoute a line from a good movie O'Brother Where Art Thou? from John Turturro's Charachter "That don't make no sense!" If ya wanna know something I think your a bigger ******* than Schilling and that's saying a lot. Your just scared of what our team will become. I never predict things but the year 1998 keeps floating around in my head.
  12. The only reason I come here is for the conversation. I think its healthy for rival fans to discuss and sometimes(ok w/ thease 2 teams argue) about the teams. I just ask this who on the Yankees is a *******. Who comes across on that team is a dickhead to fans or the media. As far as that Randy thing went he was sorry and it was a spur of the moment breakdown that could have happen to anyone of us. If ya wanna talk about some *******s lets talk about manny, or pedro and Nomar when they were there. Hell Curt Schilling is the biggest ******* of any ball player on both teams he's nothing but a media whore he's in it for himself deep down he says he's a team player, but he's only in it for himself. its funny how A-Rod is a *******, when only a couple of months before he signed he was boston's savior. with Pavano you guys where so sure he was a Red Sox and he signed with NY and now he sucks as a pitcher. You should look at your team first before you criticize our players. I will give credit where credit is due. I hate the Sox but i respect the players. Damon is a great ball player, he's fun to watch. Varitek is a great leader and that was the best move of the offseason for the Sox.
  13. Well I stand corrected. I will admit when I'm wrong. But, it looks like the average agaisnt him from that list still doesn't look good for the Sox.
  14. Nope they didn't put the spin on it. They wanted pitching and they got pitching. He didi call them a lot on Saturday trying to get the deal done. The Yankees didin't want him. They don't need him anyways. The only thing Cashman said they screwed up on was for John Leiber. Why don't you worry about what the Red Sox are doing and stop worrying about the Yankees. You must be nervous about the Yankees. If not you would not be commenting on something you think sliped through their fingers. You must not be happy with the offseason the Red Sox are having. I think they did have a good one and I'm a Yankees fan.
  15. Yeah, that's how he will look when he shuts down ortiz and Damon who suck against him.
  16. Nope as usual you have got it wrong. Scott Boras called the Yankees no less than 16 times on Saturday to get a deal done. Cashman on the Mike and The Maddog radio show said Boras offered 116.6 million for 6 years so Beltran could play for the Yankees. The Yankees said no and didn't counter-offer. They did not want a nother player they had to pay more than 16 million a year for. They really didn't need him and I think they made the right play. They have a good center-feilder and they have a outstanding back-up in Bubba Crosby.
  17. Well I don't like the Sox of course. I'm Yankees all the way. I also have love for the Phillies. I'm from South Jersey so we pretty much follow Philly sports. I'm a huge Flyers and Eagles fan. I've always like the Yanks. It was funny I was living in Arkansas when the Phils went to the Series and all the Braves fans rooted for the Blue Jay's. It was great even though they lost. I hate the Braves just as much as the Sox. Its all in good fun anyway.
  18. What are you smoking? Sox bullpen is better than New Yorks.Ha Ha Ha that's kinda funny. Our bullpen was better then yours last year and we upgraded so yea I can see that the Sox bullpen is better.
  19. I knew this was gonna happen. Every Sox fan on here was worried about the Yanks getting RJ because he is one of the best pitchers in baseball. Know that the Yankees got him all the SOX fans are saying he sucks, he's washed up. WHATEVER. You guys desperatly wanted Pavano because he was a awsome pitcher. Know that he is a Yankee he sucks, he's just a average pitcher, ********. I will give credit where credit is due. Did the Yankees have the biggest choke in sports history? Yes. Did the Red Sox finally break the curse and win the Fall Classic? YES. This is a new year and new Teams now. What happen in the past happened. Know they are just two regular baseball teams. I just find it funny that all the guys that are awsome players who are not in pinstripes are great to Sox fans, but once they join they are not good players anymore. It's kinda funny that Roger Clemens had to leave the Sox to win in the fall. So did Boggs.
  20. That is a good point, but look at the Redskins a couple of years ago, they had all those superstars and still did not win it. It takes a certain person to manage superstars like that.
  21. Yankees re-sign Tanyon Sturtz. A very good signing.
  22. Joe Torre is not asleep at the wheel. The way he runs the clubhouse he has never had a ny problems. he's won the AL east 7 years in a row. 4 World Series. 6 American League titles. But, yea he sucks as a Major League manager. Don't give me the whole Francona thing either. In the beginning of the ALCS most of the Sox fans on here where on a witch hunt for him.
  23. Just curious who's this Zenny.
