  1. So am I. I think Divinity will settle these match-ups, then we can move onto the final, and be done with this. I screwed up, and I feel bad about it, because this was a very enjoyable exercise.
  2. This has become redundant. Lets just find one more person to settle both matchups and move on. Everyone agree?
  3. I see your point, but what I said was not an attempt to influence voting. If anything, calling out the voters would come with a better chance of them voting against me than for me. I was simply voicing my frustration to ital, which I should not have done, but it was nothing more than that. But the final analogy doesn't hold any merit, because my main gripe is valid, not erroneous.
  4. Fair enough, completely agreed. I was out of line. No question about it. But I don't want this thing to end with you conceding. I'd like to win, but, more importantly, I want the winner to be determined legitimately, and there's no reason for you to bow out.
  5. OK, well then I apologize for that quote as well. I don't understand what more you want me to say, as I've agreed with you and admitted I was out of line. As for what you said in the basketball redraft, there isn't anything as straightforward as what I said (which again, I admitted I should not have said), but you also insulted the intelligence of the voters, which is the main reason why you're upset at me. As for the last sentence, again, there's absolutely on need for that. On 'a', I admitted I was wrong. On 'b', I never accused you of that. You have a right to take umbrage with what I said, but at this point I'm admitting my mistakes and I see no reason to toe the same line.
  6. Right I agree. I shouldn't have said that. I absolutely did not mean for this to get out of hand in any way, and I went too far in trying to prove that my team is better than TK's. But in no way am I trying to gain any kind of cheap victory, or anything like that. I was encouraging voting even when my team was ahead, and the window was almost closed.
  7. You're taking this too far. I apologized for saying that there is no justification for voting for your team. I admit, that was inappropriate.
  8. I apologize for saying that there is no justification for voting for your team. I admit that was a mistake on my part, and I didn't mean to insult anyone (even though others, including yourself in the basketball redraft, have said similar things). But aside from that, I don't see how exposing the weaknesses in your defense can be construed as petty. We're supposed to lay out why our team would win this matchup, and that's a huge (probably the biggest) reason.
  9. All I'll say is that I would hope before voting, the next person reads through the thread, to see everything TK and I have to say on the matchup.
  10. Hopefully it comes from someone who isn't a Pats fan and understands the concept of a 3-4 defense.
  11. I don't mean to harp on this, but I really am just curious. What weakness does my team have that is tantamount to the weakness that is TK's front seven, due to the fact that more than half of his players are out of position (some of them more severely than others)?
  12. Right. There's still time, but at this point I'm assuming no one else is going to vote, and we need to figure out a tiebreaker for your matchup if that's the case.
  13. Bumping this one final time for everyone. The voting ends tomorrow morning for both semi-finals, so any more votes are appreciated.
  14. Jason Taylor played DE in a 4-3, this is entirely different. And regardless of what TK is planning on using Wake as, the primary job of a 3-4 DE is to play the run and occupy blockers to free up blitzing linebackers. The pass rushing abilities of a 4-3 DE or a 3-4 OLB do not translate when switched to a 3-4 DE.
