Sure, anything is possible. It's possible that Jeter could have a huge postseason, but there's no reason to expect it. At this point, the way AJ is pitching, there's no reason to expect those kind of performances against the best offensive teams in baseball.
Most Yankees' fans still want to cling to the Good AJ/Bad AJ meme that rang so true last year. Unfortunately, it just isn't the case this year. His overall numbers are much worse this year than they were last year. A more accurate meme for this year would be Decent AJ/Bad AJ, a meme that would be another way to describe a subpar pitcher. Good AJ was able to get it done in three of his postseason starts last year. Decent AJ, in all likelihood, won't be able to replicate that feat this year.
