  1. Do you think Pedro could last 27 seasons!! He will barely get through 18 seasons. Ryan was a Horse, Pedro is anything but. Here man. You need some help on this subject. Check out this word.

  3. A 3.90 ERA in Fenway is a 3.20 ERA in Shea.
  4. Those are all UNADJUSTED STATS.
  5. Give me a second, this is going to be a long post.
  6. You're nuts if you believe that. If anything, Shea will add to his greatness, and dominance. And 3 or 4 seasons? Try every season from 1997-2003 was amazing, and he was a top 5 pitcher in AL, top 10 in MLB this year.
  7. I really don't think you can deny that Walter is the MV, and Pedro is the most dominant and talented, unless of course you're not even looking at numbers.
  8. How do you define best? Most talented: Easily Most dominant: Easily Most valuable: Easily. For Walter Johnson. Would you say that is a fair analysis?
  9. No, there really aren't Do you know much more impressive an ERA of 1.74 in Fenway 2000 is than anywhere else? This should give you an idea. http://www.baseball-reference.com/leaders/...us_season.shtml
  10. Only pitcher ever in the top 3 in WHIP, ERA+, H/9, K/9, and Opponents Batting Average. He also had the best season ever, best 2 consecutive season, and best 7 year stretch
  11. I am really sick of hearing about Beltran.
  12. The Yankees aren't even going to give Beltran an offer unless they know he's out of Houston by Dec. 8.
  13. No, I don't think Curt Schilling is better than Randy Johnson. There is no sense in comparing our rotation to a rotation you don't even have yet.
  14. A list with Johnson? Here is a list with Johnson. Randy Johnson Brandon Webb Russ Ortiz Casey Fossum Edgar Gonzalez 3. Red Sox / Yankes
  15. Sheets had his breakout year when a pitcher is supposed to have his brekaout year, age 25. Look at his K/Control numbers! 264 K's, 32 walks. 8.25 K/BB, thats Pedroesque!
  16. True, but he has come close do doing it, and he did it in a pitchers park of Kaufmann stadium. In 2003 Carlos Beltran hit .307 posted a OBP of .389 walked 72 times and struck out only 81 times. His OBPS was .911. As a 25 year old. He may not be worth 20 million because no one is worth that, but you can't say he's overrated Of course nobody is worth $20m but you have to compare him to the players who actually make that, or make close to that like Bonds, A-Rod, Manny, etc. And 2004 was the 1st time since 1996 that Kaufmann Stadium was a pitcher's park. And he still got to play 1/2 of his games in Minute Maid. http://www.baseball-reference.com/teams/KCR/attend.shtml
  17. # ERA+ - the ratio of the league's ERA (adjusted to the pitcher's ballpark) to that of the pitcher. > 100 is above average and

  19. Schilling > Mussina Clement Wells > Wright Arroyo > Brown Wakefield = Vazquez (Wakefield
  20. Cubs Atlanta Boston/New York
  21. Edmonds.
