  1. Francona's the man.
  2. 61 errors? 80+ errors?
  3. The Panthers are the best team in the NFC, especially when the Eagles don't hsve TO.
  4. Guys this is simple. Manny is a top 3 hitter in the world. Piazza sucks.
  5. Yeah, it might come in handy...
  6. It does look awesome.
  7. I just gotta say the boards look amazing.
  8. Say you wanted to find out how many hits Keith Foulke should've given up last year. You goto to the Baseball-Reference team page for the '04 Sox. http://www.baseball-reference.com/teams/BOS/2004.shtml Do this for the Red Sox team (they add all the stats up, you'll seem them) (BFB - HR - BB - SO - HBP) thats how many balls were put in play. Then do ( H / [how many balls were put in play] Then, Foulkes numbers were 333 BFP, 8 HR, 15 walks, 79 k's, and 6 HBP (333 - 8 - 15 - 79 - 6) 225 balls were put in play vs. Foulke, and if you divided H / balls in play for the team you would've gotten .325. 225 * .325 = 73 hits Foulke would've been expected to allow, so the Red Sox defense saved 10 hits for Foulke. (Because he actually gave up 63)
  9. It tells you how to find it out in Bill James' Baseball Abstract.
  10. Last year, Carl Pavano faced 909 batters. Of those 909 batters, 694 batters put the ball in play. Against the 2004 Marlins, 32.7% of balls put in play became hits. So, Carl Pavano would've been expected to allow 242 hits, he only allowed 212. The Marlins defense saved 30 hits for Pavano. The Cubs defense saved 5 hits for Clement.
  11. Can we incorporate an IQ test into the registration process?
  12. This is rediculous. You said I was wrong, and you can't prove it. HA!
  13. Errors, and fielding percentage don't mean anything. Neither does range-factor. If your team is stacked with sinkerball pitchers, whose infield will have a better range factor? If your team is stacked with flyball pitchers, whose outfield will have a better range factor?
  14. Somebody ban this idiot.
  15. Tino Womack Jeter A-Rod > Mueller Matsui > Manny Bernie Sheffield = Nixon Posada
  16. Your infield is god-awful.
  17. You sound like such a ****.
  18. My guess is that he'll face Randy maybe 10 times this year...
  19. You couldn't have been anymore off with those three comments. First of all, your defense sucks, your middle infield has no range, and Matsui can't field. We've averaged 955 runs the last two years, you guys couldn't even get 900 last year. Learn to spell, by the way. My guess is that your like 8 years old.
  20. What about Manning. Oh, I know: 0-5 vs. Brady.
  21. I'd like you to prove me wrong.
  22. Nah. Best offense in baseball + deepest pitching in baseball = better than the Yankees.
  23. Yeah, it is a different team. Now we have the most dangerous offense in baseball.
  24. They have prospects?
