Yeah, Tavarez didn't throw a lot of innings last year with an impressive ERA and is not over the hill. Finally a respectable bullpen and if Foulke is healthy lookout. Watching this guy pitch for the Cardinals with a broken hand, I really felt like he wanted to win.

they also said tejada for manny and clement was done too, so I'll believe it when I see it. Definetely Not Manny straight up for Abreu. People on the PhillesPhans Forum were even asking to get Clement in the deal or a middle relief! are u kidding? We should not do this deal unless they throw in Rollins.

how do you figure? Men and women can't compete on the same level.Yes, there are women that are better at sports then men, but there are also men better than women. Our bodies are to different. Men have a wider frame or something like that....Women don't.... But that still doesn't mean that women sports can't be competitive. Just because some women/leagues aren't on the same level as men doesnt mean they aren't competitive..... -

I dont know why Pit signed Burnitz...Wilson better days are not yet behind him. The guy can hit. He strikes out a lot, but he hits for power and maintains good OBPs. Would love to have him on the sox as a 4th OF. I believe he can also catch a little. Nice versatility...I wonder what the Pirates would look for, for a guy like Wilson. I have no idea of the market for such a player.

This college Bowl season has been incredible. Most of the games have been highly competitive and highly entertaining. Too bad the NCAA and the networks continue to put so many of them on so late at night. People can't always watch the ends of these games, and there have been some amazing endings.
