Millwood would be a great signing, but I think the main motive behind this move (if it happens) is to hold the upper hand in the pitching market with Wells/Clement/Arroyo being the chips needed for Glaus and or a CF and SS.

He's not much of an offensive threat but niether was Mirabelli. Wakefield needs someone who knows what they are doing. I like Shoppach but he wasn't going to manage. He will probably be traded at this piont. It does make one thing clear. The sox are commited to Wakefield in the rotation next year.

This is horrible. Tony Dungy is truly one of the quiet, classy guys in the NFL. Let's keep his family in our thoughts. Definately the worst thing I could imagine happening to someone.
