    Who gives a flying F about Lake Erie and the Canadian falls? hahaha Concept 4 is the worst thing I've ever seen. It's like the New England Patriots, the Mercury Dime, and a Minotaur got in a 3-way car wreck....looks like sasquatch. Concept 1c though is far better than the mullet.

    Hey Moose, what do you think about this rumor? "The Kings may move Conroy today. Perhaps as part of a deal for Biron or perhaps to the Preds for a defensive prospect." Figured I'd post it, since it's out there. I, for one, think Conroy would be a welcomed and solid addition, although I would like to bring Aaron Miller, the Buffalo Native, back home.

    I'm not so sure of all these 5/6 yr deals these players are getting, im not really in favor of it. And 7.5 mil. a year to boot, damnnnnnn. It leaves them a whole lot less to spend on others. That's not really much when you figure out much they are paying per foot.... The new NHL is a balancing act with salaries. Paying anyone 7.5 per is nuts unless they're up front...and even then it's a tough call.

    Here is a question: Is this logo the third jersey logo? This is possible. One of my parents friends worked for the Buffalo Bills merchandise department in the past and on each item from reebok there would be a 'primary mark' and secondary mark' (if applicable). this leaked chart could be in fact for a third jersey. They would still call the buffalo swoosh a 'primary mark'. the 'secondary mark', the b with the sword is the secondary mark. On this particular form, they would not say 'third mark' for the mark on the third jersey. i am thinking this scenario may be entirely possible... and would also be a futher explaination why the sabres unwillingness to say anything.

    Love that one SR, b/c it def. brings back the old and the new, and I can't believe that the new Sabres logo doesn't have SABRES in it. From a sabres board I frequent at: Heres another potential, I could see this as a shoulder mark, but I just like the 'B' with the Sabres going through it.

    appears that this will be the Concept of Jersey. http://www.sportsfaceoff.com/images/sabrestemp.jpg Similar to the original Blue and Gold, with arched stripes. Also made the buffalo white, the only color it should be. Working with the logo, has made it start to grow on me. Away version to come.

    HoopsHype.com has a nice listing of the draft with a good approximation of the first-round picks' salaries for their rookie seasons. Sort of puts last night's proceedings into perspective. Bargnani will make about $3.62 million next year. Rudy Gay was thought to be Charlotte's choice at No. 3 but instead slipped to Houston at No. 8. That drop cost him about $1.1 million next year. Marcus Williams' $882,000 salary will ensure that he won't need to swipe any more laptops....sorry I couldn't pass that joke up.

    They also included Dickau and Raef LaFrentz in that deal apparently. The Raef part is what makes this deal work, cause they get rid of his huge contract. It's incredible that Portland took it.
