  1. saw this on another board and thought it was pretty funny.. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v700/adaira_d/misc/barneylogo1.jpg Well I just got the scoop that these are 100% legit. And LogosOnDemand is a service the NHL, and some other sports leagues and associations, use to provide their logos and marks to the media outlets.
  2. theres been a leak on the new sabres logo, and hopefully this isn't it: http://www.sabresreport.com/blogs/wp-content/uploads/2006/06/sabreslogo2006-07.jpg The only positive I can make out of this is now that we have seen it so early perhaps we can raise hell and make sure these crap jersey's never see the light of day. They look like a mullet...maybe they haven't told us yet but we are actually changing our team name as well. Come watch the Buffalo Mullets play the Ottawa Senators this Urine Yellow Friday. it looks VERY familiar to the NFL Ram's logo. and on the bottom it says: logosondemand.com, so who knows?
  3. IMO thats some wishful thinking by a Brewers paper. The AA team is were the bulk of the Yanks talent is right now so I think he was there to scout the whole team and not just Hughes Cashman has already said he wont trade Hughes unless young pitching is coming back the Yankees way. Plus I doubt the Yanks would trade there top pitching prospect for a player who is going to be a FA at the end of the year, is a OF, and is 30+ years old. I think this is the Yankees covering there basis. I think BC is sick of dealing w/ Bowden and his demands so now he has switched to the Brewers and has told them to look over there minor League system and see if there is a deal that can be struck for Lee. In the end I would not be seriously dissapointed if the Yanks gave up what most consider to be a top 3 pitcher in all of the minor leagues for a 30 year old OF
  4. The Bruins could be the Sabres of next season really with the young and talented team they have. Glad Boynton "the Whiner" is gone though, after every game we beat you guys it always seemed like he was whining about diving and the refs.
  5. and no blown save, and no stress
  6. Well, it's a good deal for both teams really
  7. haha idiot Stinnett....why not throw to 3rd, you white bastard?
  8. http://msn.foxsports.com/cbk/story/5728390 Come on now, isn't that too extreme? Why not make it like Football, and anyone .500 or better gets in?(sarcasm) At most I would want maybe another 10 teams in. There aren't that many teams who can argue they got screwed out of the tourney.
  9. http://www.ottawasun.com/Sports/Senators/2006/06/25/1651940-sun.html There was a suggestion here the Sabres are quietly entertaining offers for C Daniel Briere. The popular co-captain of the team is going to be looking for a big raise from the $2.5 million he made last season. Ummm....Why?
  10. damnit 1 PM tomm??? work...ughh
  11. great pick for the rangers, an offenssive defensemen, maybe teh next sergei gonchar More here: http://hockeysfuture.com/prospect/bobby_sanguinetti
  12. Toronto dealing Tukka Rask for Andy Raycroft is all about praying he'll return to Calder form. With the Leafs defense in front of him that is not likely, but he is a step up from J.S. Aubin, a very small step up. With the impending buyout of Eddie the Pigeon the Leafs couldn't see going into the season with Aubin and Tellqvist splitting time, adding Raycroft at least most likely clarifies who is #1. Tukka Rask is a fabulous Finnish goaltender who Boston will love in the years to come, they will have the embarrassment of riches in goal that the Sabres have had for several years. Tim Thomas was the surprise of the year in goal last season for the Bruins, somehow he had Ottawa's number all season, and Hannu Toivonen is another strong Finn in the nets. The salary and headache dump of Raycroft alone makes this a Bruins steal, getting Tukka Rask out of it is causing Leafs fans to call for John Ferguson Jr's head once again. And I don't blame them.
  13. Demitra is just a ploy for the Wild to convince Gaborik to stay. They paid I hefty price to get an aging star to just essencially keep their team's best player in Minnesota. It may work out, but Minnesota is years away from competing for a playoff spot and Demitra only has a few years left. Demitra and Gaborik are deadly together provided that Pavol stays healthy, but the rest of the team has more holes than Swiss cheese (AKA Martin Gerber). O'Sullivan will be a surprise impact player for LA in the coming years if not immediately. Overall Minnesota got burned.
  14. Enroth - http://hockeysfuture.com/prospect/jhonas_enroth - sounds like a nice pickup, best Swedish goaltender since Lundqvist. Weber - http://hockeysfuture.com/prospect/mike_weber - there is your nasty physical D-man, but he is yet another left shot. Sounds like a tough sonofabitch though. I really like the Sabres draft so far.
  15. Try that. http://www.carolinahurricanes.com/hockeyu/rules.asp
  16. what about thomas?
  17. well good that they took a d-man, solid pick, a little off the board but i like it. he's tall, and will bulk up
  18. lol, Washington picked a guy named 'Semen'.....Yeah, I'm immature. Sabres on the clock.
  19. I love Ovechkin announcing the picks for Washington, he must be sooo bored.
  20. damnit there goes sanguinetto, ok summers now
  21. are they swapping goalies?
  22. have some faith, jsinger
  23. hopefully the sabres either pick: sanguinetti, mitera, summers, wishart, vishnevsky, alexandrov in that order.
  24. that coould be a good pick, projected as a rod brind'a'mour type player
