Are they getting rid of them already? http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/07277/822881-61.stm I guess the new uniform offers a greater range of motion, but they actually soak up sweat as the game goes on, which makes the jersey heavier. From all I've been hearing, the players hate these jerseys - apparently they do the exact opposite of what the commercials say. they soak up water, they don't breathe, they trap in heat, etc. The league is gonna stay with these jerseys for a while because they simply have too much tied up in them to do anything else. If more and more of the key players in the game keep complaining all season, the league might be forced to do something. Bettman won't do s*** unless Crosby, Ovechkin, Malkin and the other "Faces of the NHL" throw hissy fits about the jerseys. Anyways, Sabres season opener tonight. Let's go Buffalo!
