Does this mean he's not on the Mitchell Report? I believe baseball executives were given the list today, which means Tejada probably isn't on it. If he was, I doubt Houston would trade for him the day before it's released to the public.

Mets GM Omar Minaya has worked hard to come up with a package acceptable to Smith, but thus far hasn't been able to make it work. As Joe Christensen has reported in the Minneapolis Star Tribune, the Twins seem inclined to take the Jacoby Ellsbury deal, with infielder Jed Lowrie and pitcher Justin Masterson. Minnesota wants another prime younger prospect like outfielder Ryan Kalish, but the Red Sox have held to their offers."

Hughes AND Chamberlain? Chamberlain will be a starter, what has he done in the majors as a SP? Nada. Justify that. How do you justify putting Kennedy ahead of Lester too? Kennedy just doesn't impress me at all.

Heisman Finalists: Tim Tebow Colt Brennan Chase Daniel Darren McFadden No real surprises ON the list. How about surprises left OFF the list? Mine are Kevin Smith and Dennis Dixon. Every day I go back and forth between Tebow and McFadden. But, in the end, I'd probably put it this way: 1. Tebow 2. McFadden 3. Dennis Dixon 4. Kevin Smith 5. Brennan Dixon should have been a finalist, depite his injury. He still did enough. He was my #1 until he missed those games.

No one is taking it seriously b/c everyone knows even if he wanted to Omar cant trade Reyes b/c he would be killed by the media and Fans. He cant move Wright for the same reason. Maybe he could move Beltran but he would also have to pillage an already weak ML system to get the Twins to even consider it At this point the Mets are kidding themselves if they think they are going to land an Ace pitcher via trade. If I'm them I suck it up and go sign B.Colon to a 1 year deal w/ a club option for a second and hope that he can at least get you through the season w/ some respectable numbers and maybe even catch lighting in a bottle w/ him Then hope that Johan stays w/ the Twins and hits FA'cy and go hard after him. Or they can do the same w/ CC Sabathia who I believe is a FA after this year -

I'm not worried about Willis in the AL. He will be their #3 and I would be more than confident putting Dice-K up against him. He is goinig to get raped in the AL.
