    Just look at bernie. His dropoff from 03 to 04 was definitely due to age. I agree this slump doesn't have anything to do with age, but I think he's nearing the end of his prime.

    That doesn't mean he won't be with the club next year. It just means he won't be with the club with that contract. He'll either play here for less, or go somewhere else and play for more. His agent is boras, so expect the latter.

    I was watching him yesterday, and he looked old. I'm not saying he won't be manny again, I expect him to break out of it, but he is getting older.
