    Everyone loves a good fight, but he could have crippled this team if we didn't have the depth that we have at the corners right now. This was probably a pent up rage sort of thing. Youk gets nailed by pitches all the time. Proctor/Joba anyone?

    After thinking about it, I believe that the FO has essentially given up on this year. Instead of upgrading at a position like SS or getting a solid starter, Theo solidified the catching situation for next year as well as the backup 1B role. He didn't attempt to upgrade at the other positions because they are all but set in stone for next year (assuming Lowrie, DiceK and one of the young kids are ready for next year). It's disappointing really, but they didn't blow it up for the sake of the fans.

    I don't think that's nearly a good of a reason enough to justify the way he plays. That being said, I believe that he's having a good season for the role that he's been thrust into. I believe Theo is more to criticize for not upgrading at SS this deadline.
